Wow!

This may have finally convinced me to shell out for an FOC Bruticus.

I have been avoiding that mold, but this may make it worth it.

Oh. Now isn't that lovely.

I, like everyone (probably) have always felt Onslaught was the weakest of the set, with Swindle a close second. This changes everything.

Now I'm left with this massive internal conflict as I try to convince myself to allow FoC design into my Classics collection.

Whatever. This is superb. :APPLAUSE:

My words coming out of your mouth :P.

Yep, give me a Takara TG set and I'll be all over this. It looks excellent :).

So what was all that BS about? This set won't be nearly as good as the Eco pieces because it won't come with nearly as many extras?
Damn this thing nice, almost makes me want a FOC Bruticus, almost.

This is indeed very tempting. Ruination set, with a better looking Impactor?

This looks AWESOME - really blows Echo's set out of the water.

I may have need to get the Platinum edition Bruticus v. Grimlock set to get an SDCC-colored version (I could care less for that Grimlock), and add a Bruticus to my legion of gestalts.

First: pricing, comparison shots (for scale), and reviews.

I kinda, sorta, accidentally bought a loose Platinum Edition Grimlock on eBay and it is shipping as we speak, so I'm hoping for a Fruiticus (damn u X  ) version. But, before I pull the trigger I also need comparison shots with at least Herc and a price. Looks damn good though.

Pulled out my G2 FoC Bruticus and played around with him a bit with Herc beside him. This upgraded Bruticus should be very close to Herc in height, if not the same!

If you listen carefully you can just hear the sound of Echotransformer missing the boat. This set resoundingly trounces it in every way.

Too late.

Yep, this is all kinds of awesome and will lead to a glut of FoC Onslaughts appearing on Ebay upon release! ;)

Hmmmmm, looks like Blast-Off & Vortex need to come apart for this to work.

Whichever set comes out in G2 colours will be my choice.

The FOC molds are not that great to bother spending 3rd party money to improve them with parts & figures. The FanProjects kits were worth buying for the Energon Combaticons because the molds were decent. I'd rather just sell off my SDCC Bruticus & Buy the 3rd party Warbotron instead.

For you perhaps, but not for me. I love the FoC design. I'll still probably get the Warbotron set for my Classics/Generations shelf (the only FP Bruticai I have are custom colored ones using non-G1 colored bots and custom paint jobs) but this guy will go right on my WfC/FoC shelf with WfC/FoC Primes, Megatrons, Soundwave, Shockwave, Project X Genesis (Omega Supreme), the Seekers and all the rest. They definitely have a place in my collection, so if these guys can improve on their look to make it more game accurate, I'm all for it and I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

I like my colossus as much as the next guy, but c'mon, the Energon moulds were not decent. Onslaught's backpack? Brawl's skis? Vortex was the best of an exceedingly bad bunch. Which is why FansProject deserve such praise for disproving the age-old adage that you cannot polish a turd.

I bet it was a particularly fibrous one and no red meat in sight :)

Not like anyone wants to showcase these guys in their individual modes :P While I wouldn't mind new molds for each Combaticon I'll take what I can get.

Actually, thanks to his nifty looking head and mold and the crazy, vivid colors, I display retail Vortex individually in bot mode (I bought 2 of that particular figure specifically for that purpose :P). He's the only exception though. The rest are combined at all times (I have every version of this set released to date except the Asia Exclusive).
