Really? Fake speakers to cheat transformation whilst generally being a smaller retool of Mp Soundwave? Disappointing.

Looks okay i guess, but those legs are bad. I'll be sticking with FoC Blaster for my Classics set.

It's a good looking figure. Good Classics size and nice proportions, with a very young-looking face. Got to agree that the legs are a mess with so many speakers mounted on them.

Yep. All it needs is a swivel point on the lower legs and it's sorted.

Nice idea, and I really want a Blaster, but this is missing the mark.

I would buy it. But I agree the fake speakers to keep the G1 aesthetic is silly. For that just make the legs "neo" without speakers. Or a swivel joint as someone else suggested.

I have the Device Label Blaster, and I think I'll be keeping the Device Label Blaster.

I like the Voyager size as it will fit in better with other classics toys. the smaller size means this will cost less. The faux speakers on the lower legs don't bother me. What concerns me is that this might have alternators type restricted movement in the walking legs joints. Hopefully those waist tabs can push forward so the hip joints have no restricted range of motion.

I could be into this. Maybe.
EDIT: just noticed how this essentially shrinks MP Soundwave and adds Blaster parts. Consider me no longer interested.

I think it's pretty slick personally. The legs aren't a problem for me whatsoever. More speakers the better for a character named Blaster. They aren't obtrusive or disrespectful to the G1 figure in the least. More of a bonus if you ask me.
I really like the alt mode to. I like it a lot actually.
What i do find a little "off the mark" is that head sculpt. A little too anime-ish for my liking. I agree that it looks "young". Change it please.
Other than that i think it's great.
EDIT: That gun he's sporting is excellent! Great sculpting on that one. Definitely one of the better guns i've seen.

For now, I 'm really interested. Not really concerned about the anime-ish face, but if they decided to include 2 heads/faces, it's win-win

Remember, FOC Soundwave and Blaster share the same mold as well. Why would having a rendition of an awesome mold on your classics shelf be a problem ? Personally, I would love to see all MP molds shrunk to classics size. I would buy them all.

I'm normally not so strict on different characters sharing the same molds. My main issue is this: every time I look at this figure, I'll just think "MP Soundwave." What I want to be thinking is "Classics Blaster."
It's one of those things that, once seen, can't be unseen, and it just bothers me.

Does this mean their Soundwave is essentially the same as this, a shrunken down Mp Soundwave, just with a few changed parts? Kinda lame actually.

Isn't Hasbsro about ten times as lame then, having the means and money to do it better?

No, lame as in, it's basically a shrunken down KO posing as a unique 3rd Party figure. I prefer my 3rd party figures to be original designs and toolings, and not retools or KOs of existing figures.

Foc Blaster as a FoC Soundwave redeco is what I'm talking about, my man

Ah - I see.
In that case, I reference Dead Metal:

I asked Megasteel on Weibo and they know some fans don't like this "younger" face so they're planning to include 2 different head sculpts with the figure. Nice

- I was wondering, what aproximate price are you planning for MS-03?
- Around $90. This is our suggested retail price.
Weibo conversation with MegaSteel. We just got an approximate price. I guess UT's not-Blaster wins in this area.
