I'm far more interested in the apparent Yokotron homage.

I'd prefer this be Bludgeon.

I'm more than okay with the Bludgeons I currently have, but I'd like to see where this goes...

Since these has a few faces & a tank turrent on the back. My guess is it's Bludgeon. The multiple faces might represent the Bludgeon character before & after his original face got destroyed. Yokotron never has a missing nose & weird mouth for the secondary face.

The NEST Bludgeon mold from Hasbro + Head Robots kit = The only Bludgeon you'll ever need.
Pass. (Unless this has full Pretender capability, because that might be badass.)

I always wanted to see 3rd party companies tackle Thunderwing. A deluxe sized inner robot inside of a leader sized transforming pretender shell.

Of course the first one is Bludgeon, the second one is most likely
TF: Animated Yoketron in Classics form, the double chin is a dead giveaway.

Funny, I was JUST concocting a story that involved a classic Yoketron. Bludgeon? Ignorable. Even so this isn't much to go on, so I'm not holding my breath that this is actually going to be anything.

Upon first glance,I didn't realize both pics featured not only different faces but differnet resculpted body parts. I suspose one could be Bludgeon while the other could be Yoketron. My guess is they both use the same base mold but have drastic resculpted body parts. This seems similar to what Hasbro did with the Generations Thunderwing & Sky Shadow toys.

From what we can see from these images the body is the exact same mold and so is the helmet other than the retooled crest in the center of blugeons .

I don't need another tank robot dressed in a samurai outfit. That's too Hasbroish. Maybe if they want to make the inner robot and skip the outer shell look. But I would be interested in the Yokotron homage.

IMO it makes a better looking Yoketron than a Bludgeon. I'll get that version at least, assuming the reviews are good.

Cheers daimchoc , I've put these images in the first post also .
It Looks like bludgeon has the head robots gimmick with the two face's which is cool and i love the serpent turrets very nice touch

.
ROTF Bludgeon/HR is in my top 10 favorite transformers figures and imo fits in quite well with classics not sure i want to swap out but this version is growing on me the more i look at it .

I like this quite a bit, EXCEPT for the fact that the barrel mounts to the side of the turret.
That design choice is questionable to me, and is hurting my desire to get these.

I very much dislike the kibble on the back, the gun barrel on the side (in tank mode), and the proportions (seem a bit off with the legs somewhat lower set than they should be).
I don't know - their aesthetic is as if MMC's inexperienced younger brother made a first attempt, and came just short of greatness. The ROTF Bludgeon mold + HR is gold in my book, and does not need to be replaced by something like this. If they tweak the Yoketron enough, and the reviews are excellent, then maybe.

Who's idea was it to put animal heads on the tank turrents tips? bad idea even though they look somewhat cool. two tank turrents on the same idea was another bad choice. why didn't they just put a tank turrent on each side of the tank top or one in the middle. This dare I say looks worse than the Hasbro HFTD Bludgeon toy.
About the only saving grace this toy could have. Is if it was leader sized & had a basic sized robot inside the torso cavity. I'm gonna guess no to both.
