Is this another Omega? Or is this the same as Diamchoc posted the teaser for a few days ago?

Amazing. *shakes head* Why all the Omega love all of a sudden? Is Hasbro maybe planning something for late in the 30th Anniversary line? Image

From the artwork, this one looks best so far. What im more excited about is the possibility of a blue and white guardian repaint. I would consider getting two of those...

Art's nice and all, but even Valkyrie looks nice in her artwork. Show me a prototype.

Convince me YotS Omega isn't good enough. Because, for all his flaws, that checkbox is still checked.

YotS Omega is the best Omega put out yet and the Maketoys set is going to make it better. Stick with the winner.

Yea... he may check all your boxes, but I'm not going near YOTS Omega with a 10-foot pole.

IMHO if they can make the aesthetic of the figure match the artwork, then we have a winner here. And I do own YOTS omega and plan on getting the maketoys set. But I would gladly splurge on an omega that looks a little less hasbroish. What really bugs me about YOTS omega is the red ronald mcdonald boot. I can deal with the mold being asymmetrical, but the colors really need to be symetrical because its not homaging a combiner. But I just got a good feeling about this one. I also predict alot of mr. monkey arms Going up on ebay if this omega comes out as good as I suspect.

Not knocking your opinion, just asking a question: Have you seen Planet X Genesis? (FOC Omega Supreme) If I had my choice between the two, I'd go Genesis.

If I was interested in G1 accuracy, I'd probably go with the Omega Supreme featured in this artwork. I have the Energon version of the Omega mold and it's great for Energon, might even be okay in the Armageddon kit, but as for being the best out there yet? I simply cannot agree.

I'll say this, it's the most affordable of all the Omega options and it's an official product, it has those two things going for it.

Yeah, that's probably the best statement, thus far. I love Genesis, but I cannot shell out that kind of cash. I imagine, unless this thing is deluxe or voyager size, that the cost will be somewhere in the neighborhood of Genesis. If I'm not getting Genesis, I prolly wouldn't get this one.

Still, I'll be interested to see how this one turns out.

Why are some referring to Machine boy as a KO company? does this mean we can all expect to pay cheap KO prices for there toys? :KREMZEEK: My guess probably not.

The Three machine boy TF toys art that I've seen in the past few days look impressive. Often times art can Translate differently into toys. So before I pass any judgement I need to see some test shots molds pics.

I think the Hastak Energon Platinum Omega Supreme toy & the WFC Omega Supreme toys are both equally terrible.

^ Bingo. I spent some serious money on FansProject's Menasor, and it was a bitter pill to swallow. However, that was for a set of FIVE figures. I can't spend that much on ONE. Even if I had the money, I just can't justify that level of spending. For those who can, that's great, but I just can't do it. My hand would start shaking as soon as I would reach for the PayPal button.

C&P from TFormers .

Machine Boy / Meng Badi.

For those unaware Machine Boy is the company who made TF KOs and low end original transforming robots in the past that have been edging around the outskirts of the third party TF market. See the picture of their offering from last year's "Alteration Man" line.

If you have ever seen a KO with the words "Alteration Man", "Machine Boy", M-Boy" or "Meng Badi" on it, it's one of their old products. They seem to have a knack for insane random names like "Detonation Mountain Tiger", who is KO Alternators Swindle.

CHMS used to make KO's and now they make X-Transbots stuff. It's also rumored that they make the KFC products.Im not saying KFC and X-Transbots are top of the line in quality, but CHMS came a long way from their signature seeker KO's that put them on the map. (which were great quality IMHO) All it takes is one new designer to get on a the payroll and a KO company can go in a totally new direction. It seems the Chinese are learning alot about designing figures from all the years of KOing. I would say give Machine Boy a chance.

Well, that's the thing. Do I necessarily need the best Omega Supreme out there? Am I willing to spend a LOT of money to get the best Omega Supreme? I don't dislike Omega as a character or anything, but to me he's basically a checkbox in my "have all the seasons 1 -> the movie" collection. And there's a LOT of figures out there that I want, official and unofficial.

That's why these guys have to convince me their take on Omega edges out the official take on him.

As for Genesis, the proportions bug me a bit. And, you know, price and everything.

Judging by the recent silhouette pic. This Looks like a oversized Actionmaster. At best it parts forms into other modes like the 1985 toy did. It doesn't appear to transform into any of it's modes.

How can you tell? I am really thinking you work for, or are associated with, one or more of the third party companies, based on your strange reasoning on some toys but the opposite reasoning on others....

Seriously, maybe it's just because I'm tired, but it seems pointless to make such speculations on a silhouette. O.o

Two points, here.

One: Absolutely amazing that you can tell all of that from a silhouette. You must have some fantastic super powers.

Two: Is there an Omega Supreme (official or otherwise) that doesn't parts form? Seems kind of inherent to the character. "I'm a base of some sort with a rocket ship and a little tank/train thingy, all that forms into one giant robot. Watch me parts form. Wheeee!" So if this one did parts form, what would the problem be?

Just when I was happy with the YOTS with maketoys add on set, they drop this. I guess ill be having two omegas. Maybe four if they do the blue and white guardian repaint. Im a sucker for ancient cybertronian stuff. But I just couldnt get into genesis. Probally those damn monkey arms...

I'm cautiously optimistic on this one, but since all we have seen are drawings, who the heck knows what it will actually be.

Two: Genesis doesn't parts form. MONKEY ARMS FOR THE WIN!!! :KREMZEEK:
