I'm rather happy with my SDCC Metroplex. ahh Why not just make a Trypticon. Then they'll have the whole market rather than just the few that are unhappy with the Has/Tak one?

What's the point of this ? Are they going to make him the height of a midget to scale with classics figures ?

While this appears to take more visual queues from FoC Metroplex, it's not nearly close enough to warrant a purchase from me. My Takara Metroplex won't be replaced by this. I'm waiting on a third party to do a game accurate rendition for my WfC/FoC shelf. Until then they can do something else.

If they had gone with Trypticon I'd consider it, this though is a waste of time

This a thousand times.
Third-party companies, if there's a good version of a character put out by Hasbro or Takara, at least for me, I'm gonna go for that one. Metroplex is a
great toy. And I play with him a lot.

I picked up a Takara Metroplex on Black Friday, and also have a Hasbro version from CostCo.
A 3rd Party Metroplex would probably cost twice what I paid for both Metroplexes put together. Why would I put myself through that?

Unless he's Ultra or Leader sized?

Official Metroplex = $100
Unofficial 3rd Metroplex = $300-$400 (if you're lucky)
I like the look of this a lot and I'm curious as to how well an alt mode this guy can pull off, but considering the Hastak Metroplex isn't a shabby figure I can't imagine this guy will be flying off the shelves. Whomever this 3rd group is they waited too long to unveil this Not-Metroplex.

I like the top shoulder weapons, too bad the hasbro version doesn't have them.
It seems kinda pointless for a 3rd party company to create similar product like Hasbro. Especially when the 3rd party version will be Quadrupple the price.
I would rather see 3rd party companies create products Hasbro haven't done yet.

I agree this is kinda pointless.
However, it could look great in Necrotitan colors...

*looks at 3rd party Metroplex, then to his, then back to the screen* I'm sorry, you ARE the weakest link. Goodbye.

This will most likely be a Leader class or about the size of YOTS Omega Supreme. Rumor also has it that this is actually being made by Maketoys as part of the Mega City Bot line, and will work/connect with the upgraded YOTS OS, with the Armageddon kit.

Unless it can pull off a better city/fortress mode than the hastak version(which shouldn't be hard given what a piece of sh*t that looks like) then I'm not sold.

This is definitely smaller than Titan Metroplex, look at the feet. That kind of joint won't work on something as large as Generations Metroplex.
This also seems to be more G1 accurate.
I really like this and wouldn't mind seeing more of this, but it's not something I want to buy or own.

Ya know, while this does look really awesome... I need size comparison pics before I commit and cancel my Hasplex... and even after comparison pics this thing is going to be through the roof expensive so... I can't really get off the fence on this one yet.

It looks good, but whats the point of doing a character hasbro actually got right ? Unless this thing is four feet tall and scales with classics instead of legends, its pointless...

Oh, I like the look of this. I may break my own rules and get this despite having Hasbro's Metroplex. I'll just need to see sizes and pricing. If this is close to the same size as G1 and costs less than $100, I may just have to bite.

I've heard this might be leader class?
I'll buy it if its cheap enough even though I love my SDCC Metroplex. but who knows how much this is going to cost.
