Yet again, no photo shown here, only a small box with a red cross.
Can you upload as an attachment please?

As great as getting the news of a new release or teaser image is, not everone in the world has access to certain social media websites from where a lot of your photos are hosted from.

Cheers for your help. ;)

looks a wee bit like Optimus Optimus to me.

although three kings makes me hope it will be 3 farm-machinery alt mode bots who are given the task of following a bright laser in the sky to the place where optimus prime is given the matrix. gold, frankincense and myrrh cyber planet keys sold separately.

That kind of looks like Dia Atlas, though the chest isn't really right...

Maybe it'll be Dia Atlas, Roadgrabber and Sky Garry. Wouldn't that be awesome?

Edit: TFW seems to think it might be This Diaclone figure

That would be awesome. I'd definitely be down for that.

When I saw the project title 'The Three Kings', my first thought was indeed Dai Atlas and his buddies, but that image certainly made me a bit wet at the prospect of a 3rd party Optimal Optimus (not that one's needed).

But hold up a second! Isn't one of the Rack'n'Ruin homages classed as WB006?

I don't need this. As It's hard enough gathering up the cash for 3rd party toys that homage HasTak TF toys.

Didn't you, just in the Machine Boy Omega Supreme, say, "I can't fully pass judgement on this toy until I see more, much more"? Why the conflicting statements/opinions? We don't even know what this is yet...

Nothing I said was conflicting. I didn't pass any judgement on the toy. I simply said I didn't want to spend the big bucks on 3rd party stuff that didn't homage any HasTak character toys. This toy most are guessing is a Diaclone homage. Because I can barely afford to buy some of the 3rd party TF toys that do homage HasTak's TF characters toys.

There was one guess on a Diaclone homage, and several others on Has/Tak products, including Dia Atlas, Optimal Optimus and a Brainstorm repaint. Is this "most are guessing" info from TFW2005? Are you aware that a great many of us do not go there? Based on the context of this thread, your comments are completely inconsistent. I think generalizations are still causing confusion in your comments...

Guessing their suspose to be a update toy for a Diaclone combiner named, King Dam. http://www.collectiondx.com/toy_review/ ... ng_dam_3_1

Think all of these FP Core toys are terrible and easily forgetable.

Kind of a hard sell for me . . . No real connection to Dia Battles. I might regret not picking this up, but I'm just not feeling it.

I had forgotten all about this and the question of who it is. Not really a TF homage, but a Diaclone one.

I stumbled across a review of this, I think by baltmatrix. He didn't seem too impressed by it; some of the connection points were weak, and the flexibility of the combined robot was hampered by that. It looks neat, but I'm not sure I'd go for it.

I don't dip my toes in the 3P-ool that often. Not because I'm anti 3P. Just reasons. This guy though really grabbed my attention. Can't even remember how I found him. BBTS Pre-order alert, maybe? Not only the aesthetic design, but this play pattern really got me. This is my first FansProject figure, and I love it!

A note to the thread: He is actually WB008 and on the box it's spelled Trinix, not Trianix. Even though I had been calling him that. Also in the packaging and instructions there is no mention of the Three Kings thing, but I like it, so will roll with it.
And it appears that most of the issues with breakage and looseness mentioned about the test copies the reviewers got have been fixed. Mine is in great shape.

Here's a post from the Collect-O-Tron that I'll transfer over here just to spruce up the joint. :D

Image
FansProject WB008 Trinix Alpha

HOLY CRAP! Where do I start? This toy is AMAZEFACE! It's like Takara Dia-Battles made it with a Cybertron toy and had three little weird babies. This is one of the most solidly built figures I've bought in a long time. The plastic is wonderful. So heavy and sturdy. Anybody familiar with the plastic Playmobil uses? It's that good. Survive-the-play-of-a-preschooler good. Oh and his ratchets could wake a hibernating bear.

But aside from the construction, the design and engineering is also fantastic. So this is FansProject's homage to Diaclone Diabattles. It's a pretty loose homage in that it also kind of homages Powermasters too. all that added up equals a 3P toy that, in the end is almost just an original idea. And that's what I like most about it. It doesn't serve to fill a hole in my collection, or slavishly rip off some preexisting TF character. Instead it just becomes a really good robot toy.

Love this head sculpt.
Image

Now robot shots of super cool awesome extra roboty action poses!
Image

Image

Pound the ground! 'Cause I never pound the ground.
Image

Image

Here he is with his cousin. BTW he's huge! Diabattles isn't really that big but Trinix is about a half inch shorter than the currant TF Leader toys.
Image
You can see how he starts to homage Dia-B, but aesthetically he pulls a little harder from the OG Diaclone toy.

Image

Now say hello to his little friends.
Image
So what are they? Engines? Super upgrade power units? Varying skill set enhancing brain moduals? I dunno, but I'll figure it out.

Image
They are pretty neat little guys. They share the same transformation, but are retooled enough to be totally different dudes.

ImageBalthasar, Melchior, and Gasper
So in a review I watched, I think I remember that they were named after the Three Kings of Orient. You know from the Holly Bibble? I'm not sure where the reviewer got that because nowhere on the box or instructions does it say that. I like it though. 'Cause those are some great names!

ALT MODES!
ImageI freaking love a futuristic sci-fi motortrike. Everytime!

Image
Col' lampin'!

ImageOh! Do you like my guns?

All three are really fun little vehicles. Each one has a really nice and different way of securing the pilot into their seat. They all tab together really well, and make some solid little battle rollers that are fun to zoom-zoom pew-pew all over the place.

Image

Image

Did I mention how nice the chrome on him is? They chromed over plastic that has a nice little texture to it, that I'm sure will help the chrome stay on.
I'm really excited for this guy. I just love his design and he's a ton-o-fun.
I love this play pattern.

To any of you more 3P savoy O-Tron subscribers: Are all FansProjects toys this good? I've always liked there designs. I just couldn't, for whatever reason, pull the trigger on buying any.
This could be the beginning of a deep dark rabbit hole for me. He's not the only one in this Powermaster-esque Warbot series either. The others look pretty dope pants too.
