KFC announces a new and highly requested upgrade set to the popular MP-10 Masterpiece Optimus Prime (KP-06/KP-06B). This set features full articulated hands that feature the following:

1. Three unique joints on each finger one of which is a ball joint at the base of each finger.
2. Gundam style assembly that allows even someone with no customization experience the ability to install the new hands.
3. A brand new, larger and far more accurate rifle that better reflects that fire power Optimus Prime wields.

Release set to be in early April.

Takara versions. Waiting on info for Hasbro version.

Not really necessary, but a neat idea. We'll see what the pricing is like.

While nice,It's not needed. The original hands were articulated enough to please some.

At the very least KFC should have put a light up led in the gun. To make it a bit superior to the HasTak riffle gun.

Question is, can the rifle still be conveniently stored in his back, or will it be a large floating piece with no real place to put it in truck mode?

I don't even care for articulated fingers on my Gundams, they're just too damn fiddly to work around for whatever element of dynamics you want out of them, especially with sabers. If I must have dynamic hand poses I prefer swappable static pieces.

NEXT!

Looking good, but I'll wait for reviews since it's KFC.

I got my new hands yesterday and installed them this morning... they really look great and the gun is really nice too.... the only complaint I really have is the finger joints are loose so he cant hold another gun or item in his hands. I think some clear nail polish will make them tight, but I shouldn't have to do that. also the wrist area is tight, almost too tight.

if you want hands that are articulated and you don't mind popping all the joints and adding clear nail polish, then these are highly recommended.... otherwise stay away.

and Keith if you read these forums please take note of this issue.
