Yes, all sorts of yes. That Slammer looks outstanding. Plus, I'm a sucker for really nice looking scout sized figures. I'm all in. Image

Yeah, these guys are cute. If I wasn't so interested in getting B&A Six Sigma, I could have been sold on this set...

I'm double dipping man. I can't resist. The Slammer that comes in this set will be my classics Slammer & Before & After's Sixgun will be my Sixgun. The leftover B&A Slammer & IF Sixgun will be original characters or something.

I never doubledip... never. However, depending on the price I just might on these.

Nice! I will Probably get this. I never understood why the other sixguns were so big.

It was so their legs could be used as guns by Metroplex, ala the G1 toy. Also, in the G1 toy, Six Gun's arms were made up of the shoulder mounted guns. These Iron Factory guys will look a little silly with Metroplex wielding them as pistols...

But I sill like them.

So more Toy functionality than cartoon accuracy, makes sense but I want these instead!

Sorry, but that Six-gun is just way too small. Based on this picture that Doctor McGrath shared:
Image
...it may be a 'toon accurate representation of his size compared to Slammer and Scamper, but I need my Six-gun to become guns that scale with Metroplex, not tiny little turrets that plug onto Metroplex and disappear into his vastness.

I'll give them that their Slammer looks cool. Slammer having a robot mode is completely unnecessary but an appreciated touch, none the less. If Slammer was available by himself for an extraordinarily cheep price (like a pipe dream of $10-$15) I might theoretically pick him up. But knowing he will cost more then that, and come with an unnecessary tiny Six-gun, dampens any enthusiasm I may have had considerably. I shall stick with what Before and After is making.

That said... I suppose (assuming the price isn't stupidly high) this will be a decent option for those wanting a Six-gun on a budget, or looking to save room. Hopefully, for those people, this is a good figure when it comes out!

Not about the budget but I have SDCC Metroplex so I don't really need the extra guns. I'm interested in this because I just don't see a huge six gun standing next to warpath or any of the season 3 autobots.
very excited about this set.

Price depending, I think I'm in for this.

I probably would not use the Sixgun as a character, but as component parts to add armaments to Metroplex.

Plus a few more critters to run around on 'Plex in city mode is always a nice touch.

This is my view. It's gonna hang out with my uber-upgraded 'Plex as extra turrets. Probably gonna keep that one in city mode for displaying my Legends.

These guys are cute, and that Slammer reminds me a bit of Guzzle. I'd like to own the pair.

Oh, see, now I want to take my extra Guzzle and repaint him as Slammer. Why didn't Hasbro do that with the 'Plex release? #-o

I may have discounted this too quick. The idea of a transforming Slammer is pretty awesome. The little Sixgun may join the Wreckers.

Wow! While still not for me, this thing has generated a lot of interest quick. Good on Iron Factory, looks like they have a winner!

oh man. i want to see color pics.

i fully understand why the other sixguns are gigantic, but i didnt really like it. and i also dont need the big extra guns either, as i have the double gunned hong kong version. furthermore, im all about cartoon accuracy.

so yeah... color pics and price.

I was contemplating B&A Sixgun, but the size, and the fact that it was a fairly ambitious first figure attempt by B&A, held me back.

But these? They're freaking adorable! While I agree that this hits the spot of cartoon accuracy, and having Sixgun & Slammer scale with Scamper, what clinches it for me is that Iron Factory's renditions have more playability with Metroplex as a play-set than with Metroplex as a figure.

That new dimension is really, really appealing for some reason. Plus, because what the IF set seeks to do is so different, I still might get the B&A set... :P

Yep, I hear you man. I'm set on going with both companies. Hopefully, Before and After gets theirs out soon so I have some time to enjoy it alone before this comes out.

Feel the same way.

Like someone pointed out in another Sixgun Thread. The purpose of Sixgun is to seperate into Six guns for Metroplex to use. Seperating into Five or less guns defeats the original Purpose of the character toy.

Titan Metroplex needs to wield some of sixgun's Six Guns in his robot fist,on his shoulder or use them in other modes as firing guns. This version here uses SixGuns Six Guns much differently as missle launchers and hidden flip out pop out projectiles.

The 1986 Sixgun toy, part of it seperated and helped form a building of sorts in the city, defense mode. This basic version here is way to small to do this function for a two foot tall titan city, defense mode.
