Looks decent! Black and orange Fallen repaint? (Though I don't know that I'd ever replace my Paladin/Chaos...)

Love this, Might consider buying this toy. It needs to be Leader 9.5 inch scale. So it can scale with 30th Leader scale Jetfire and 30th Leader scale Megatron.

Also desire the leader scale for the LF-01 Vetron toy. So it can scale next to other Leader scale toys from Rid, AEC, Movies, TFA and TFP-BH.

Don't need for this to be Voyagaer or Ultra scale. As Hasbro already released a Voyager scale Titanium 6 inch War Within Megatron toy. That resembles this design.

Shadow Samurai League better hurry up and rush the release on this toy. The HasTak 30th Leader scale Megatron toy might get released near November-December 2014.

Nonono you are wrong! this needs to be exactly 7.5 to 7.8 inches. 9.5 inches is too big and look terriable for where he is suppose to be scaled with.

I like Megatron as a tank.

If you don't want mass-shifting, it is the most logical alt mode for a guy that originally turned into a gun.

But I would prefer they went with a more realistic tank, rather than an "H" tank.

A little more like this:

It is, but not this version, it's going to be based on the latest idw Megatron body.

I like the newer Megatron body more anyway, so I can pass on this. Especially if it's not 8.32inches when standing on its tippy toes.

I'd still rather a Megatron Origins toy in Voyager scale before either of them though.

I'm optimistic about this too. I love the design of this Megatron. I have Hegemon but I'd still pick this up if it turned out alright. Show me some proto's

I bought and sold too many flimsy Hegemon's to truly love him. That toy is the reason I haven't bought anything by Toyworld since. He's beautiful, and I'm sure he's worth the affection to you guys, but he's not for me.

I can get behind this. I'll get my G1 fix with the (hopefully inevitable) MP, but as a voyager, this guy will fit perfectly into a Classics collection.

I understand your distaste for Hegemon but I strongly encourage you to try ToyWorld's other offerings if they interest you. I have both of their Headmasters, all of the Throttlebots, and Orion and all of those products are made at a higher quality than Hegemon was.

At the risk of derailing, I'm just not super-interested in TW's stuff. Orion looks off to me, and I've been real happy with Fansproject's Headmasters. Might have to pick up TW Hardbone if we don't get a Hardhead from FP, though, especially since he's on clearance at BBTS ($70). I'm considering it - is he good?

Does anyone know if this company has done anything else, or if they are a front for another better-known 3rd Party company looking to rebrand?

You're right, the FP are way better IMO but Hardbone is a good figure. I'd like him a lot more if the headmaster had better locking points in head mode.

Hopefully these guys are ahead of the game and will be releasing prototype pictures soon. I wonder when Hasbro will reveal their Megatron?

I'll wait to see what Hasbro comes up with for their Leader Megs, but altogether I'm not digging this design anyway, especially with how the treads look like 2 towers mounted on his back.

NEXT!

doubtful, Vetron will be Voyager or Ultra scale. As Shadow Samurai League wants to create a superior version than the HasTak 30th toy. The only way for SSL to accomplish this is to create a leader or bigger scale toy. SSL isn't going to feel comfortable creating a smaller inferior version and allow Hastak to create the superior bigger version.

MP-01 & MP-10 are proof that when you make a TF toy smaller. Their is less parts, lower sculpt. Less complex, more compact, simplified design and inferior engineering. This is how the SSL Vetron will be if it's Voyager or Ultra scale. While the HasTak 30th Megatron leader scale toy becomes the superior winner of the Two.

Titanium 6 inch WW Megatron was created to please those who want this design toy in a smaller Voyager scale. Just buy this and call it a day.

an unsurprisingly narrow-minded view there, Tsushuakutamumu.

bigger does not always mean better. computers and mobile telephones are good examples of this. older, larger models are capable of only a fraction of the things that newer smaller models are. design and engineering for a TF come into play as well. Fort Max is pretty large, but is he more detailed or more poseable than Perfect Effect's recent Warden toy?

of course, you might be able to give us more insight into this toy, since your first paragraph there suggests you must work for SSL, since you know exactly what their intentions are with this release.

Megatron isn't like Optimus where he's only known for just One iconic alt mode. Megatron, Has more alt modes that fans want to see get done better in toy form.

:-? X, Buys multiples toys based of the same minibots characters. Yet here he is saying that Megatron just needs one Hedgemon toy to please fans of the character from 1984-2014. :BANG_HEAD:

not comparing 30 year older versions to newer versions. So nothing in your argument applies here.

I was comparing recently newer versions next to other recent newer versions made in different toy scales. Alterntiy were inferior to Binaltech toys due to the smaller scale. Movie verse Optimus leader scale toys are superior to smaller scale Optimus toys due to the bigger scale. The BH terrorcons were inferior toys due to the legends scale. MP cars bots are superior to the classics cars bot due to the bigger scale. 3rd party combiners are superior to the HasTak combiners due to the bigger toy scales getting used. HasTak using the bigger toy scales for the MP TF toy lines helps make them more superior than the Classics Genrations toy versions.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out this. A leader scale 3rd party IDW tank megatron will be superior than a Voyager or Ultra scale Megatron toy. Due to more stronger joints tech being able to get used on the mold. A much smaller scale isn't able to used many of the stronger ratchet joints. bigger size means less compact design. smaller scale means less parts and pieces get used. bigger scale means higher sculpt. The much smaller scale can not handle the stress of the more complex transformations like the bigger scaled toys can. smaller scales can not fit more articulation into the design due to the more compact tiny sculpt. stronger materials always get used for the bigger scale TF toys. I have yet to see a smaller scale TF toy have stronger materials used next to a bigger scale TF toy. smaller scale creates a more simplified design next to a bigger scaled toy. bigger scaled TF toys are able to fit more gimmicks, lights and sounds in the sculpts that the smaller scales are not able to accomplish.
