KOncept Art Toys and Meng Badi (aka Machine Boy) are making fan-inspired repaints using the Classics Onslaught mold which MB has already KO with new heads .



There first repaint is to be Beast Machines Striker .



Other possible releases G2 Onslaught, Grimlock, Beast Wars Second Autolauncher and Optimus Prime and also a KO Energon Bulkhead mold for Obsidian

Price to be around $45 .

Years ago I might have bought this toy done up as a Dynobot Grimlock but not now. This idea is nothing new,Ebay Customizers have already done it over excess.

I have no desire to get any older or newer Beast Machines Striker toys. Due to me hating that cartoon persona character.

I think doing a KO Beast Machines Obsidian using the Energon Bulkhead toy is another bad idea. The sculpt looks nothing like Obsidian and there is already that TFCC toy.

I'd buy KO's from this company. If they do characters toys on my wish list. Like doing a KO of ROTF Leader Scale Megatron with Two retooled robot arms. KO of HFTD Starscream with a replacement 1984 seeker robot head sculpt and in G-1 deco colors. A KO of Energon Leader scale Galvatron with remolded added articulation in the robot waist,head,wrist,fingers,feet & swivel joints in the thighs.

we are making a strika toy from unofficial Onslaught toy...very nice quality.



we make custom head and bonus parts seperately to complete the figure...make it great fan good.

KOncept Art are speaking to the factory to make a couple of small colour changes, but this is looking good!

I think i wanna get this. I kind of felt the warpath mold didnt work do well. You guys should do more KOs like this. I was a big fan of what CHMS gave us a few years back with the seekers and lambos

What happened to the Promised new BM Styka head that was teased in the art? Why is there a Onslaught head on the Stryka recolored test shot?

i got the impression it was a separate accessory. might even be unpainted...

I'd be down for a Fort Max version to go with Stronghold. I made on a few years ago and sold it off in a time of need.

Im interested. But these "collecting money to fund the project" proposals always make me weary. If they dont get enough orders theres no guarantee youll get a refund. I would be much more comfortable going through a retailer like the kronos guy did with bbts. I know its a KO but the mold works better for every character other than onslaught. Clench, Fortmax (stronghold), Hardhead (or grindcore) and now Strika. Its just not onslaught without his teammates and a combiner mode.

It confirms that NO MONIES will be processed until the FULL PLEDGE has been reached, so no one will be out of pocket until the pledge date is up around mid June 2014.

Have you tried to ask a few of those unofficial TF conventions to help fund this project? This would make a great unofficial convention exclusive toy.

so... is there a minimum pledge? or is the pledge the would be asking price for one of these figures? does the pledge entitle us to one of these figures?

No minimum pledge...even 1 $US is very helpful to show good will.

The head will be colored. Meng Badi is manufacturing the purple Onslaughts, and then Koncept Art Toys is making the heads. You can buy the Strika head, the Onslaught body, or both and put them together.

You can plesge anything you want, but it costs $45 to get a body and a head to make a Strika figure. They have lots of different levels to pledge to get different things.

KOncept Art have added another variation to their pledge page which offers a 'VS' pack, both Strika vs Impactor as a set for $80.

Actually the way this works, you give Paypal and Pozible permission to charge you the money, and if they project ends with enough pledges, they charge your paypal account. If they project ends without enough pledges, your account NEVER GETS CHARGED. So there is no worry about getting a refund. They only take the money if it's successful.

I know that TFcon, while embracing third party, will NOT touch a KO for an exclusive. They don't want step past that line. They even said they cannot use Justitoys WST toys any more for exclusives, because they are too close to the original molds.

I remember seeing a digibash on here a while back where somone had made this figure into Marvel Centurion, that looked really nice, would be well worth a buy!
