Impossible Toys 'Going out of business' sale at BBTS

Pretty much what it says on the title. BBTS has a big sale on IT merchandise. I'm not the... biggest fan of their stuff, but I do know some of you folks like it. So I figured I'd get the word out.
Is the Alicon worth it? I might pick it up to mostly-complete my 'Killing Jar' cast. And if only someone could come out with a Marissa figure I'd be set.

I like Alicon. I ordered a second one to keep in bot mode.
I am this close || to jumping on the Tetrajets. I hope they sell out by morning...

At $130 I just couldn't resist. I finally broke down and got the set of 7 tetrajets. I'd been contemplating them for ages now just for the purpose of displaying them in their alt modes on my Seeker shelf but just couldn't stomach the price for what they are (even for their previous $220 clearance price) but at $18.60 a pop, it's hard to say no.

Maybe Impossible Toys wants to close down their company to get a clean slate. Whats to stop Impossible Toys from opening up another 3rd party company that no one knows is owned by IT. Or joining forces with a existing 3rd party company? Its just hard to believe those Impossible toys crew will stop making 3rd party TF toys.

I bought an Allicon because of this closeout sale and I'm impressed. He's definitely got issues and $30.00's still a tad too much, but he's fun. Very simplistic, though. He most definitely was not worth the original MSRP of $80.
Can you say "Buyer's Remorse"?

I got one for the original asking price. Yeah, I definitely should have waited. But it's not even the most I've wasted on this hobby.

I had seen that Alicon last Botcon going around for $60-$80 and almost pounced, but held off. Glad I did, my $30 one arrived yesterday. Very cool toy, will mostly stay in gator mode and hang out with the G1 Decepticons.
Those Tetrajets could be $50 for the set of 7 and I'd still probably not do it. The alt mode is neat, but unless you collect seekers I can't recommend them. That bot mode is just atrocious.

Well I could have saved a lot of money. I bought most of this stuff at their original prices. But at least I can say I had them first and have enjoyed them all. While saving money is always cool, Its not like I had to eat soup for a month to be able to afford them. Ill miss IT. They brought some pretty cool obscure characters to life on my classics shelves.

I picked up the 3 original seekers.
At $20 each, they are worth it just for the alt modes.
I bought the set of minibots too. As basically spruced up versions of the originals, they will look good together. At under $15 each, I may have a decent set of scout sized minibots on my hands!

Impossible toys could be any one of the new third party companies we've never heard of that is currently teasing a project. You'll know if it's them when the products are out.

That means you should not buy it. Alicon is cool though, so if you absolutely must cave in and get something, do that one.

Out of everything on sale I can recommend the Alicon. At the very least because we have sets of Skarticons that can go with it. You know, if you care about that.

Had the IT Alicon been Gnaw instead at that Voyager scale. Then I would have Bought IT Voyager scale Gnaw for $29.99.
If the IT Tetrajets were Voyager scale. Then I would have bought one for $20.

I broke down and preordered the Alicon as well! haha
So how does one display this without having any of the quints and sold off the sharkys? any ideas? Anything from the cartoon? lol

Earlier in the movie, before dealing with the Junkions, when Kup and Hotrod crash on Quintessa (it was Quintessa, right?) and after they crawl out of the "ocean", they run into the Alicons. "This is getting expensive!"
