I just bought this on ebay. The same seller also has unpainted versions available.

I'm hoping that whoever this is making these (located in China) keeps it up and delivers a show accurate Cheetor head and any other Beast Wars heads/parts/etc. to make those Beast Wars figures more show accurate, especially those from season 1.

Wish I owned a 3rd party toy company. So I could create some Masterpiece 3rd party Beast Wars toys. I'd create a Voyager scale MP Tigatron toy. Then recolor and remold it into Shadow Panter, Cheetor and Ravage. I'd do a MP 3rd party voyager scale toy for Walfang and his retooled repaint 1988 Carnivac. MP 3rd party Lio Convoy toy.

Please no replies saying Voyager scaled HasTak or 3rd party BW toys is too big of a scale. Because Primal, Megatron, 30th Rhinox, Tigerhawk, Depthcharge and Rampage all have this scale.

You COULD make a while line to match the old Primal toy, but it seems pretty impractical.

Anyway, that's a sweet head. It's rare to see BW get any love.

Primal, Megatron, Rhinox, Tigerhawk, Depthcharge, and Rampage were all bigger than Tigatron in the show though... having them in voyager wouldn't be very cannon.

Yeah, I really wish Beast Wars could get some more attention from the third parties.

Anyway, I'm anxious to receive this and pop it onto one of my Tigatrons (probably the Telemocha version).

On a slightly related note I just received my Hasbro Generations Waspinator today and compared it to the Takara version which I already had and I must say that while neither is perfectly show accurate, the Takara version is WAY closer to Waspy's onscreen appearance than Hasbro's. The same goes for Rhinox (his beast bits ain't nearly as 'shiny' as the pictures make them out to be, at least not under normal lighting).

If any third party starts dropping Beast Wars figures on us I'll buy every one of them as long as they're decently show accurate. Size in comparison to other lines/figures is irrelevant to me because I have separate shelves for my Beast Wars stuff. I don't put them with my Generations or MP figures (with the notable exception of Transmetal Megatron, who is blasting MP-01 in the face :P).

TM-11 Tigatron is on my wish list. Still waiting to find a decent secondary price on the toy. I regret not getting the toy for much lower when it first was released.

To be fair size scale in the Beast Wars cartoon was way off & made no sense.

Realistically, A Tiger is bigger than a Gorrilla, rat, falcon, rhino, wasp, Scorpoin, ant and some other BW Cartoon animals.

Need I remind anyone that BW Megatron T-rex Beast mode should have been bigger than it was shown in the cartoon.

Given all this above, I don't think many fans would mind seeing a Voyager Scale 3rd party Tigatron toy. Especially considering some here wanted to buy those huge TFC Predacons toys in those Beast Wars characters deco colors.

I think trying to scale BW toys with Generations, MP & 3rd party toys makes even less sense. Considering most of those BW toys were bigger than most or some of the 1984 TF toys.

Not for nothing, but the scales for everyone were completely consistent within the show. Sure the alt. modes were over or undersized, but they were consistently sized and the characters were not actually trying to disguise themselves in the environment, unlike characters in G1.

More and more it seems like a voyager Tigatron would be a bad idea. Unless there's a whole MP line for Beast Wars. Which would be an excellent idea.

To be fair Tigatron is a lot bigger than cheetor in the show. Maybe a really small voyager would be cool. Not those huge new Generations ones (springer, soundwave)

I think hasbros doing a good job of bringing beast wars to the classics line little by little. I dont think 3rd parties really need to jump in with full blown figures that hasbro will eventually end up doing. Due to CGI graphics, theres not an incredibly huge beast wars cast to begin with. I really believe were getting an optimus primal next year to complete the original 5 maximals. Maybe tigertron too. The one thing im down for is a show accurate cheetor gun and dinobot sword.

I can't be the only one here who thought 2.0 Cheetor and 2.0 Dinobot were epic terrible toys.

I just don't visualize this happening in 2014 to 2015.

Why not just buy the Robot Masters Optimus Primal toy and call it a day. Especially since you prefer the smaller scaled TF toys anyways.

Check out these pics of the 5 original Maximals recreated using Robot Masters Optimus Primal, 30th Rhinox, 2,0 Dinobot,Basic Rattrap & Cheetor. http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-new ... ne-178894/

Think,The HasTak toy market is already over flooded with BW 10th new Deluxe Optimus Primal. the BW 10TH Ultra scale Optimus Primal repainted remold. Plus all the repaints and re-releases. http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Optimus_Primal/toys

Damn, they need to re-issue those Robot Master moulds ASAP. They looks fantastic next to the new Gen BW toys. I don't think the market is over saturated. I mean, there are options, but they've been made so long ago that I'm sure they're hard to find and pricy.

Cheetor was a terrible re-imagining. I got him cheaply at a con recently and was pretty disappointed in him. But 2.0 Dinobot is probably the best they can do given the alt. mode and the robot mode. He could use a proper sword, though.

Not to say Universe Cheetor is perfect, but he was a great update for 15 bucks. Same thing for Dinobot. I honestly think were going to see a lot more BW homages in the classics lines once AOE runs its course. Maybe a couple more Armada homages as well. Patience is a virtue. I'm a G1 guy, so I don't plan on spending 3rd party prices on other continuities. I can understand why some BW fans are impatient, but be patient Hasbro is headed in that direction. Even the club is getting in on BW with Rampage, Transmutate, and last years Depthcharge. Anybody remember DOTM Quickstrike ? (Darksteel) He fits in pretty well with that group as well. Add PE Arenea to the group and you have a pretty nice BW shelf if you don't mind mixing pre-Earth bodies with Beast mode bodies.

The seller provided my shipping info and I replied thanking him and stating that I would be very interested in custom heads for any of the other Beast Wars characters and this was his reply:
Thank for your supporting! I'll go on to make more heads of BW characters:)
That makes me very happy and I hope to see more from this guy in the future to make my BW figures more show accurate.

Dinobot was decent, but his Hasbro deco was awful. Takara fixed it with their Henkei! Henkei! Dinobot.

Though, thanks to the Club, now Hasbro's Universe Dinobot has a workable placement as Shattered Glass Dinobot:

As for Optimus Primal, I agree that the RobotMasters mold is quite good, but not very show-accurate as far as its deco is concerned. Which is why I went for Beast Wars Telemocha Series TM-01 Convoy instead:

i saw this head on ebay, and i really wanted to get one. but having to paint it myself with the prospect of it turning out like ass put me off.

now if this guy made a head to make an optimal megatron from the final episodes of beast machines, id be all over it.

Well, I received the custom head and popped it onto my already customized/custom painted Tigatron and it looks absolutely stunning. That original head was the main thing that always bugged me about that figure (and Cheetor as well) and this totally fixes it and finally makes Tigatron really look like Tigatron in the show and I couldn't be happier.

I really hope this guy keeps making these and other parts to improve upon the Beast Wars figures.

Oh, that looks good enough for a forum post!! That head looks really, really nice! Are there any issues transforming Tigertron? That head looks quite a bit bigger than the stock head, though it has been some time since I had my Beast Wars figures out.

Honestly, I don't know if the head affects transformation or not as my own modifications to this particular Tigatron figure render him non-transformable (that tiger's head, you might notice, is facing forward instead of down and is sitting inside his chest like on the show instead of out in front which is because it's actually detached and wedged into place there).

I do have an unaltered Tigatron figure I could test it with but I don't think I want to go through the trouble of doing the head swap twice just to check since I'm keeping him in bot mode. Honestly though, I doubt the larger size of the head would affect transformation just because in beast mode his robot mode head pretty much just sits inside an open cavity in his beast mode chest/belly area with quite a bit of room between it and any parts it might get in the way of (mainly his beast mode head).

Oh, yeah, that's not necessary. I was just curious. I'm not likely to buy the head. It does look fantastic!

Probably realize i'm in the minority here. I love and prefer the HasTak robot head better on the Tigatron deluxe toy.

While I don't like the head,I'm happy that the buyer here does.

Kinda wish someone would make a custom G-1 styled seeker head for me to place on that HFTD Leader Starscream toy. I'd prefer it in dark grey. I'd buy a black G-1 seeker head also but I'd place that one on the GDO G-1 deco version of that HFTD Starscream toy.

No, not yet, although I have considered it several times. My robot mode Cheetor is the Telemocha version (most show accurate) which is much harder to come by so I decided not to do the mod on him since there's no going back once you do. If I acquire a second TM Cheetor, I might give it a shot.
