Hey guys and gals,

I have been wanting to review since my collectione has gotten bigger and my opinions and conditions for what makes a good transformer are a bit different than others.

Anyways, the thing is I want to start making reviews.

Do you guys think using the built in camera and microphone of a laptop are good enough? What do you guys recomend?
What video file is easiest to deal with and export to youtube?
What video editing software do you guys use?

Any tips would be very handy!

ok starting with what i use for my reviews,

Cameras: Sony HD handycam, Logitech HD Webcam (for stopmotion). i wouldnt recommend a built in webcam, as it will make getting good shots difficult, also its better to get a cam that can zoom and auto focus. HD isnt vital but is recommended

Software: Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Premiere Elements, either one of these programs would be great for editing, but Elements is cheaper by far. I end up using both programs because Pro cant capture stopmotion video but Elements can

for video format, .wmv works fine

A little planning can go a long way, so before reviewing a toy, take some time to get to know it and figure out all the points you want to cover. writing a script is a good idea, one i should start doing myself.

Lastly, TJ Omega put out a Review Guidlines video a while back, it had some very helpful advice. just note this is not my video.
