Welcome to another transformers review and today I am taking a look at the table flipping robot cop himself Transformers Universe Prowl, Prowl here has a new version of his beloved z car alt mode, Prowl in robot mode is sporting two missile launchers, his gun and the reprolabels set for this guy, but is this crazy cop car robot man worth getting? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRFggPjsUqw

Wow, I though the paint on my Prowl looked horrible... That one looks atrocious! Well, if nothing else, thanks for making me feel better about mine!

I would love to get the Reprolabels myself, but with the issues this figure has with its paint, I don't want to feel like I'm just putting lipstick on a pig, as they say. Ah, well. I usually stick him towards the back on the shelf he is on, and he doesn't look too bad. (Also, his mold does have a tall robot mode for a deluxe, making the back row a natural spot for him, anyway!)

You can see him hiding behind Jazz in robot mode.

God, the paint they used on this figure's clear parts was awful. Not sure what happened! And it wasn't just Hasbro, as according to the TFWiki, this problem was even reported with some Takara Prowls. I'm glad Bluestreak and Smokescreen didn't have this issue, too. I'm annoyed enough having it on one figure. Three would have sent me into a rage! Rage, I say!

I'd love if Hasbro could maybe give Prowl another try. Could even use the same mold, just paint it properly this time and do a bit of quality control! Or, failing that, it'd be nice if maybe Reprolabels (or someone) could do another set for Prowl, one that includes stickers to mask the affected areas.

If I had skills, I suppose I could just paint over affected areas myself... But I don't, so I shan't.

I understand why you don't want reprolabels for him and I respect that, I am surprised that most of these prowls pass the qc test with the horrible paint it had on it especially with this being a common issue with the figure, I plan on getting another prowl with better paints then this one someday, I am also thankful that Smokescreen nor Bluestreak had this issue.
