I went looking for CW this morning but found Kreon Warriors instead.

While I wasn't too worried about this "Timelines" set I thought why not and bought 4 packs.

Pack 1:
Looks like.....
Image
Gladiator Bumblebee.

First things first, it looks like we have a new baseplate to replace the 2x4 bricks.
Image

It looks clean without the paint application that looks bad on many of the bricks.

Part count wise, we are looking at similar numbers to Lego blind packs as these are not Micro-changers, so instructions really are required here.
Image
Not a bad looking figure, and I like the shield decoration, but the cart wheels for the legs seems unnecessary.
Image

Pack 2:
Image
Outriders beware it's Ramrod... Err Wild West Optimus.
Image
Apparently Prime is decoed to transform into a stagecoach, which I did not expect but gives it a good western feel. The wheels that i had an issue with on Bee work well here, and i'm liking that the traditional head deco is transferred to the hat. Unfortunately his iconic stacks which are included seem redundant.

Pack 3:
Image
Crossing the Pacific it's Samurai Prime.
Image

There is nothing wrong with this piece, but it's just not doing anything for me. It looks good, but with Movie Drift already on the shelf, it just doesn't work as well.
Image

Pack 4:
and finally... crap.. a double of WW Op. Oh well...

Image

An interesting side line, I'll likely buy a few more but i'm in no rush to do so. Wild West Prime is the hilite so far,and Gladiator Bumblebee while not exciting is pretty nice. Samurai Prime is a bit of a pass but they can't all be winners.

Hey, Editor, mind if I throw a couple in here? I picked some up today while scouting for more CW stuff.

My first experience with the Kreon Warriors is a double dose of ninja action!

Ninja Megatron
Image

Instead of his trademark fusion cannon, he comes with a mounting part, and a kama (sickle-type ninja weapon) to attach to his arm.
Image

He also gets what I'm assuming are shuriken on his legs... for some reason...
Image

Next up, we have Ninja Shockwave!
Image

His gun hand is replaced with a blade, and he comes with a sai.
Image

Additionally, he gets the same shuriken parts on his legs as Megatron.
Image

Two Ninja Decepticons on my first outing, not bad. I think I want more of these!

alls cool.

I did pick up 3 more packs.
A double of gladiator Bumblebee, Wiseguy Bumblebee, and Ninja Shockwave.

I'll post Wiseguy Bee up later, but Shockwave seems a bit off to me, and with the hood, for some reason I'm feeling more of a Lugnut vibe from him.
