With the popularity of the newest Combiner Wars figures, we thought we would take an additional look at Combiner Wars Protectobots Hot Spot and Rook. For those who wanted to see the transformation for Hot Spot and Rooks' limb modes (which the last video reviews did not feature) can be rest assured that they are featured in these videos. I feel your pain with Hotspots legs. It does seem that they could have been done better after watching you struggle.

I hope i don't suffer the same frustration when i get mine. I had high hopes for this figure being i think it "looks" marvelous. Good review sir.

At least now i can manage my expectations accordingly and won't experience too much disappointment when i eventually get one.

If you're patient enough, in my full Defensor review, i will be taking a quick minute to show that Hot Spot does have better legs than i initially thought. They are double hinged and if bent correctly, they slot in and become far more stable. It's not shown in the instructions and due to the black joint itself going into a dark area, it's fairly hard to miss. If you stick a flash light in there while you're doing it, you'll see it easily lol next time, i'll use flashlights in my review :) It's still got a cheaper feel than i would like and i do not like the ratchet joints. But he at least doesn't have as floppy of lower legs.
