A completely new look for the legendary Optimus Prime. Smooth transformations between all three modes with a fun lights and sound gimmick. I can recommend Exprime as a stand alone toy if you don't have the other combiner teams. Be on the look out for part 2 when I bring it all together.

Yes I know this is a long video but there's a lot to getting 3 figures together in two different ways. Sound issues aside I think the combined modes work well but still not as good as it could have been. I will say both combined robots hold together quite well. If you have Kenzan or Gekisomaru I can fully recommend Optimus Exprime, if not Exprime is a solid toy on its own.

Seibertron.com member chuckdawg1999 brings us a review of the recently released Takara Tomy Transformers Go! G26 Optimus Exprime. The figure is an all new take on Optimus Prime with three modes: robot, bullet train, and dragon. The figure also has the ability to combine with Kenzan and Gekisomaru. Check out his reviews below.

Chuck, when you are combining with Kenzan on top, the front of the train bits plug into the swords behind the chest shield.

Hope that helps.

Thanks it does, I just wish the instructions were a bit more clear on that part. I'll try it out once the frustration of the sounds not working passes.

While it was a good review, it was funny listeningto him get aggravated with things not pegging in like they're supposed to.

You had to see the look on my face and the footage edited out when the sounds didn't work right. The combination music is very Samurai-ish with a techno twist. I only have the ninja team to compare it to and I like their music more.
