As movie toys start to slowly trickle out here's one of the new easy change figures of Optimus Prime. Sporting a very movie accurate vehicle and robot mode one step Optimus is a fun desk toy that most collectors will probably pass up due to it's simple nature. If you're looking for something just to mess around with I can highly recommend this figure.

So am I. I like simple Transformers that don't require a degree from MIT to transform.

I wish that was a smaller figure, to match legends/legion class, or a little bigger, but on that scale doesn't fit any of my collections... I pass

all of these non deluxe/voyager/leader figures are going to sit on the pegs FOREVER.. probably until the next movie line is released.. it baffles me that they're doing this crap..

didn't the previous movie lines sell well enough?.. couldn't they have tried something different to boost sales?.. maybe, you know, release the cool figures that they created but never hit retail.. so stupid.

We had these when we were younger, but they transformed themselves and were called Jump Starters.

Beast Wars also had something similar. Rattrap's the most famous of them. Just take the tail and swing it back, and he transformed. Though, he was more posable than this. It's a mixed bag for me.

I can't believe I'm saying this, between this figure, the 1-Step Grimlock and the upcoming Stinger...I'm genuinely impressed with this subline.

For once, Hasbro simplified things and it turned out well. :APPLAUSE:
