The Wreckers are the Autobots' specialist black ops unit who get their hands dirty and love it. Being sent into the worst possible battlezones on suicide missions means the survival rate in the team is pretty low, and as such the roster has gone through a number of changes. As of 2017, the Wreckers are in their 43rd iteration, consisting of:

Ultra Magnus (leader)
Springer (second in command)
Whirl (jerk)
Bumper (I’m not fraggin’ Bumblebee!)
Broadside (acrophobic aquaphobe)
Chromia (tallying kills)
Roadbuster (BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG)

The Wreckers' most recent mission saw them helping defend the supermax penitentiary Garrus-9 from a Decepticon invasion force led by Black Shadow to free Megatron. Command is yet to make contact with Autobot forces on Elba, as the facility was leveled by fire from a Worldburner-class battlecruiser.

Blackout and Starscream struggle to wrangle Grimlock as he tears through the city of Baltimore in a berserker rage... not exactly the scenario that Megatron and the Decepticons were hoping for after planning to stay 'covert' on this planet.

As the holiday season begins and Christmas Day draws closer, Grace takes Treadshot (using his human form Nathan) to the local Christmas market. Having never experienced the holiday from the perspective of the natives who celebrate it, Treadshot is overwhelmed with the aromas of sizzling hot dogs and warm pretzels, the din of slightly off-key carollers and festive songs blasted through crackling speakers… but most impressive is the sheer number of humans there – Treadshot has not seen a gathering like this in over a decade, and it warms his still-new heart more than anything.

Grace still hasn’t told him the truth about Santa Claus.

“What, didn’t he think his old friend was worth greeting in person?”

Treadshot has certainly had warmer receptions than this, Canada’s climate notwithstanding. His ship is severely crippled from AA fire and the only people here to greet him are the very bots who shot him down - the Autobots' resident butcher Ratchet and gangster with high ambitions Hot Rod. It seems Treadshot's hunt must, at least for the moment, be postponed.

“Slash. She called Slash. She Dynobot now.”

Finding one of Shockwave’s many offsite labs on Earth, Grimlock, Slug and Swoop stumble upon something remarkable – a Cybertronian with a dinosaur mode like their own. The little one makes quite an impression by shredding the lone Eradicon sentry to paperclips. The Dynobots warm very quickly to the little one, but it seems a special bond has formed quite rapidly between her and Grimlock.
