Having built lego's and collected transformers my whole life, I can definitely appreciate the attempts to connect the two. I do like what you've done with the integration of the bionicle parts for some of them to really give them a unique feel.

As for advice, I would say:

-Be careful of kibble, lego is not very forgiving when it comes to excess kibble, and successfully dealing with that is a major hurdle to overcome.

-Make sure the skeleton is sturdy (especially the thighs, knees, shoulders, etc.), and well thought out.

-Decrease the scale if things don't work out. Don't be afraid to decrease the scale a little; this usually leads to a decrease in kibble, and less stress on all the joints involved.

-Don't be afraid to parts-form a little, so long as it serves a purpose (weapon, or armor)

-The more realistic/in scale you try to get, the more difficult things become. Sometimes it's okay to just make a scifi tank or something, expand your idea's; and focus in on adding additional surface detail.

-Get very good at sculpting a variety of heads and hands that scale at various sizes.

Hope this helps you some, I know it may have been pretty vague, but these are the things that I frequently run into when making one. I used to do whole-body formers, but have since changed to scramble-city style megazord formers (1 mech = 1 limb) I can upload some pics of my old tf's if you would like.
