Our own Twincaster and voice actor Jon Bailey in association with BlastardInc and Gabriel Jean have produced yet another BotCon exclusive video for the 2013 Fan Film Festival. In this episode of TRANSFORMERS: GENERAT1ON, the Autobots prepare for their 30th reunion but Prime runs into some opposition from some familiar faces from the 80's.

Excellent!!! Loved it. Nearly choked on my breakfast when I saw He-Man trying to worm his way into the gig and the call from "George" was great. :lol: 8-}

I've always thought supervillains most likely have really normal non-intimidating names like George, Bob, Dave. :D And thanks! However, Jon Bailey and crew are not held responsible for any choking of breakfast, lunch, dinner or other related items such as snacks and/or the spitting of fluids from one's nose as a direct result of watching their parodies. TM ;)

Wasn't this supposed to be a stop animation episode?

Originally... several years ago. That preview was the furthest my friend Swainy101 and I got. He got a new job, started a retro-gaming podcast and no longer has the time to do stop-motion animation. I wrote a half dozen scripts for Badly Animated but only 2 were finished and produced and only the first minute or so of this one got finished. Because of his schedule, we figured we would release it computer-animated instead. That and there's several shots that would have been too difficult to create with stop-motion.

Last year's Green Energy was also originally supposed to be part of that series but he couldn't do the scenes at the power plant.

They're MY OWN ideas so nothing was borrowed from someone else. I made sure to ask Swainy101 if he was okay with it before producing them this way too since he was my partner on the project. At least this way, everyone gets to see the entire thing instead of just a several-year-old preview that never got finished. Now you know the whole story.

Hi Jon,

I wasn't accusing of of borrowing or anything like that. I initially thought that the 80s reunion video was initially planned to be a stop motion flick for Transformers Animated Badly. All in all, I miss Transformers Badly Animated and y'all did an awesome job!

Thanks, bro! We aim ta please. Still have the Charticon promo coming up very soon and it's really cool too. Cypherplex made a Transformers Prime Shockwave model from scratch and his Depth Charge is amazing. Plus, got a couple of surprise voice actors making cameos!

I hope it's not completely cancelled. Swainy101 has just been very busy with a new job and new podcast that he started about retro gaming so TFBA is kind of back burner for him at this point. Sad too. Bought him the iGear Computer Control Center to help the videos look even better and he barely got a chance to use it before production stopped. But thanks for watching our videos! Glad you like them! I still plan on making all the scripts I wrote for TFBA into CG episodes so at least they won't have been written in vain. And I just came up with a concept for a series of shorts based on my favorite shows from Discovery, Animal Planet and History that I hope fans of the same will enjoy. Hopefully, we can get to the point where we're producing one or two new videos every month.

I only saw Sean Whitmore's video and it was just a short abridged version of the animated movie. Not that it wasn't good but abridged Transformers cartoons have been done before. I was hoping I would get to see more new stuff from the Film Festival but so far, I haven't seen or heard anything. I would like to see the winning videos.
