yes!

You'd have to ask their Customer Service people; they usually don't announce those things ahead of time.

They're up on Kapow Toys right now, both for £37.99. I think that translated to 45$ for you guys.

EBay is an auction site. They don't actually sell anything themselves. People simply use the site to sell their own crap. For these to show up on eBay, they have to be released to the public first. Some online stores have eBay "mini stores", and offer pre orders, but they still won't have the actual product until they are released for sale.

And why was it frontpaged? This is Machine Robo, not Transformers. The connection with Gobots shouldn't be used as an explanation, as Gobots aren't Transformers either: Hasbro just happens to own the toyline IP (but not the cartoon or the original toys).

Just asking... ;;)

We newsed the gobot movie news too. Both franchises are linked in a historic way due to their early rivalry and now the legal ramifications of the two names being under the same place. Similar to Diaclone, how its linked to TF but is its own brand. Sure, we wont news this everyday, it will be sparse. But there was a big interest and thus it was newsed.

The next two preorders are up at BBTS:

MR-03 Eagle Robo $45.99
MR-04 Battle Robo $45.99

I went ahead and ordered Eagle Robo (Leader-1). We'll see how these turn out to see if I'm in it for the whole line...

Thanks agamemnon (did I ever say what an awesome username you have?, I love writing it, its like I am going off to war against the Trojans!). I am getting a bit worried that these wont hit japan online retail. I know that sounds insane, but if it was Badai making them then it would bec ertain but I cant find any toys by "action toys" on any japan retailer. For americans, its fine, but for international sellers BBTS is the most dreaded thing. Because they already incorporate the price to import it to the states, but then you'd be paying to import this imported product to your country and the price just grows astronomically.

There are so many pics on that facebook site, cant post them all here. Will put this one though, it looks awesome!

Aww, thanks WJ88. :D I always felt I was torturing people making them type out the whole name. (At least it's not my YouTube name, Darth Agamemnon. I swear someone is going to sue me for knotting up their fingers Tom and Jerry style.)

And that picture is awesome! In fact, when I heard those "stands" were coming with the figures I reconsidered the Leader-1 fig.

However, is it just me, or does Cy-Kill look like a goofy 1960s animation style dog face with a giant red nose and big white teeth sticking out the bottom. Not very Cy-Killy for me. ;)

(Yes, Sabrblade, I realize these are actually the Machine Robo where Cy-Kill was good and happy, and not at all creepy looking. Image But, to the little kid in me, these will always be GoBots.)

I would have much preferred Japan to be carrying this. its so weird, why isnt anyone in Japan going to carry toys reflecting a japanese property?! RK's shipping is just sooooooooooooooo expensive. They do combine shipping though, right?

To be fair, Action Toys is based in Korea rather than Japan.

They charge 1 price fits all so better to get more. And it sucks they require immediate payment.

I goofed up on Action Toys' location. They're not in Korea, but in Hong Kong. Sorry for the mix up.

No worries, but that explains a lot. Ok so that means that Robot Kingdom will be the base price since they are China based and would not be incorporating any import fees into their price. They are the "local" dealer. Too bad though, I hate their shipping prices.

So, in a nutshell:

- the license given is from the anime, not from the original Machine Robo toyline. As such, only characters from the anime will appear in toy form. So UFO Robo / Pathfinder fans are out of luck.
- the line is planned to last 2 or 3 years, with Series 2 and 2.1 being revealed shortly. The Devil Invaders are hinted towards, but nothing concrete.
- Combiners like the Power Suits are up in the air, as they're questioning the feasibility due to the different sizes of the figures.
