Busou Shinki

For the uninitiated: Busou Shinki was a toyline that started in 2011 featuring 6" robot girls with modular armour and weapons. Each figure was designed by a different artist, using a base body designed by the wonderful Masaki Apsy. The toyline is now defunct, but is possibly making a comeback and has been homaged by a few other "spiritual successor" toylines such as Kotobukiya's Frame Arms Girls. Unfortunately they're quite expensive on the aftermarket (your best bet is Mandarake) so they're not for the cash-strapped.

So, who here is a fan of these wonderful Mecha Musume? I only own one so far (Espadia, the stag beetle girl) but I intend to get more. Just to jumpstart the thread, here's a couple of pics I took of her.

Suuuuuuper expensive. Iirc, it was under Konami (better than revoltech) with some game/code interactions.

Some of the rarer/more popular Shinkis like Arnval, Murmeltier and any of the licensed Shinkis are often expensive, but if you look on Mandarake you can find some really good deals on them. The smaller ones often go for about 4000 yen and the bigger ones can be found for under 6000.

It's also worth noting that the fun you can have with them increases exponentially with the amount of Shinkis you have due to the modular parts. The things some people have made are just awesome.
