I've been eyeing that one myself. I would stick her with my Persona 5 Queen/Mikoto Niijima figma since one of her Personas, Anat, is a transforming motorcycle. There is a transforming Anat figure from Sentinel that's made to go with the figma, but it started at $200 and now the aftermarket price is anywhere from $250 to $350...




Kinda regret not just going for it, hope it gets rereleased.

As for that Jeanne Racing Figma, she's 200$+ everywhere.
So, NOPE.

This one of those is a very rare time that I'd prefer to get the Chinese knock-off instead. Sooner or later, they'll make it.

A while ago I got that huge nearly 3 feet tall Little Mermaid doll from Canadian Tire. (Canadian hardware store)



The objective was to give her a new outfit.

Well, that failed miserably. There is NOTHING on the market that can perfectly fit that oddly proportioned giant Disney doll. So I looked around for a long while but without avail.

Ironically, it's at Canadian Tire that I found a clothes set made for some no-name "toddler doll" to fit Ariel. The shirt and vest fit but they are tight and short. This makes them PERFECT. The skirt needed some adjustments to get pass her large hips. On my way to mom's to get help for that, I went by the thrift store to get the last parts needed: the shoes and socks. I found some baby shoes that may fit, and a stuffed doll to be sacrificed.

Thanks to my mom's amateur seamstress skills (light years better than mine) The skirt and socks are done! Finally, I tried the shoes. The shoes are of the perfect length but are a wee bit too large. Still works.

In the end, Ariel became modern, stylish, and sexy!







She will stand guard at Black Zarak's post until he arrive.

I saw the DeLorean at my other local Walmart for $25 and told myself if I saw it for less I'd buy it. Well this was less! I also bought that G.I.Joe set for just under $6 at that other Walmart, but I'll be taking it back. Only reason I was able to get those MOTU WWE figures is because they were on the wrong pegs, they were with He-Man and Skeletor instead of their own peg with the clearance tag. Shocked it was those two and not the peg warmers Goldberg and Stephanie. Very happy with all of this!

Two of my orders arrived yesterday.

The Cobra H.I.S.S. III tank was something I debated over ever since my local Walmart put one on the shelf. I had the original H.I.S.S. tank as a kid, which is why I chose to not get the "Retro Collection" version. This was purchased after I ordered a newsstand copy of G.I. Joe #50 (which was both cancelled and refunded) and a SDCC 2010 set (which has yet to be shipped). Besides the minor damage near one flap, it is minty fresh. Which both appeases my sealed collection goals and has the small premium feel justified.



The 25th Anniversary Snake Eyes, however, is an interesting story. I was going to pay more for the Walmart exclusive "Retro Collection" variant, but instead ordered the tank instead. After another eBay seller gave me a refund because they lost the item I bought, I chose to use that money to buy a Snake Eyes figure. The one I found had the "black" Timber and looked to be on an "AFA 80+" card. And was cheap. What I got was the standard version on an "AFA 85 (maybe 85+)" card. Downgrade on rarity, upgrade on condition.



At this point I have one that went from being in San Francisco (a 5 hour drive from where I currently live) to Kent, WA (+12 hours from where San Francisco is). Thanks USPS. And another that has yet to be shipped. So once I get those, I might take a small break.

Is it an "affordable" figure, or one of these super expensive "Hot Toys" type?

Oh I don't do Hot Toys prices. This is part of Neca's Universal Monsters line. Price range for The Monster, I've seen between £30-£50.

I'll keep an eye open for these.

It is a slippery slope for me though. I have a great affinity for Frankenstein's Monster. They've already made an "in colour" redeco. I do love variants.



Yet, I am on the verge of investing in the whole line, as I'm a big fan of the Universal Monster films. Minus Wolfman...

Found this at my local hobby store where i get most of my transformers these days. from Zoids: Wild (I would have preferred a Liger model but they're not available) A Rapterrix to be specific which is a velociraptor model. I ditched the pilot figure and didn't like the "dinosaurs have hair feathers" so he doesn't have the spiky headcrest.


Here is my new Rapterrix compared to Deluxe Grimlock (CV) Paleotrex and Siege Prime in terms of size. Rapterrix is the black and red toy

First new anything in my place for too long. I've waited about a year for these guys to be made and shipped to me! Reminded me of why I love the modular Glyos style toys!

I forgot until Scott mentioned it on the Twincast Podcast that I also got Nendoroid Kumoko from "So I'm a Spider, So What?" from AmiAmi. She's a rare Nendoroid that doesn't come in a window box, but given her shape it isn't surprising. Only complaint is I wish she came with a few more thing like magic effect parts or her little elevating platforms or her terrifying actual face (all the cute stuff is just in her head).
