Forgive me if I misname these guys, but this afternoon I got a stealth Clone trooper from the Clone Wars and a Space trooper. I know that's vague, but I currently teach at four different colleges and I stopped at a TRU nearby one and just spotted and grabbed these two figures. As much as that may make me sound like I just impluse bought them, I'm pretty happy to have found them. I'm a sucker for Troopers.

To my disappointment, I haven't opened him up yet, but for starters let me say he looks fantastic. It's a different mold than the Spacetrooper that came in the Legacy collection. I think that was the line; it was the one with the collector coins. This one is slimmer and more menacing looking than the previous one, and he has lasers on the elbows that are slung under the arm, like if he bent his elbows they would point straight down. The blaster he comes with is a regular Imperial blaster, not like that giant crappy one the Legacy figure came with. He's Stormtrooper white, whereas the previous one was a darker gray color.
If you see one, pick it up. He looks great.

So I was watching the whole saga on Spike TV a week or two ago and I thought: Aw, crap...I forgot I used to love Star Wars.
As of right now, I have no idea what's going on in the Hasbro action figure department. But I may head out to Target or TRU and get a few new guys. Maybe I'll finally get the Snowtrooper, as I'm trying to collect all types of Clones and Stormies.

I saw the new Phantom Menace figures in the vintage packaging at Wal-Mart yesterday, looked nice but the price was $8.99! They had a ton of figures in the new Darth Maul-featured packaging too that were also $8.99. I guess this is a post holiday price hike because GI Joes were also $8.99. Just a week ago at this same Wal-Mart figures were $6.79

The new packaging is pretty nice looking. Nothing like putting figures form the last wave into a new box to make a person sift through the pegs right? Only one I saw that interested me was a Phase II Clone, becuase I am a Clone whore. But this one was barely worth noticing, so, for now at least, I left it on the rack.

What kills me is I've been looking for one of those basic, mini Darth Vader Transformers and can't find it anywhere. The pegs are filled with Obgyn-Kenobi, Anakin Starfighter, and the Anakin Y-wing

There have been two deluxe Vader transformers. The Tie fighter and a black Jedi starfighter called a Sith starfighter which I assume is a prototype for the tie fighter.

Target has this three pack of some Clones that I kinda like but don't really like $17 like. It's got an orange bomb squad Clone and one in the training armor and one other one. I just am not a big fan of the Clone Wars slender figures, so I'm crossing my fingers that this ends up on clearance one day. Then I'll snatch it, but not at reg'ler price.

I'm not a fan of the Clone Wars figures myself but was that a sales price? That is the cheapest I have heard these sets to be.They now run around $25

Honestly, I saw the three pack on the shelf which was labeled as $16.99, so I can't exactly say how much they are. That's just what my assumption was, but $25 is entirely too much for them. I know that figures are like $9 a piece currently, and so this is technically a discount, but it's too much for me to drop on the spindly body designs. I do hope it goes to clearance though.

With the prices now at around $10 per figure I pick and choose.Mostly from the origional trilogy they got to stop forcing tons of the new prequel stuff on us .A friend of mine seen two kids in a store looking at the star wars toys asking who Han Solo was
