It's... from Ben 10. One of the villains. I think they were called "DNAliens" or something to that effect.

Aw. After looking up ben 10 villains, yeah, it's one of those. I was hoping it was something cooler than that. Oh well, it's still kinda neat.

Like Bumblebee, there seems to be a lot of Gypsy Danger figures floating around. Unlike Bumblebee, the majority of them can interact with each other in some way. Interchangeable hands, plasma cannons, accessories, and things like that. However, I don't think I would be getting more than one (maybe two) Gypsy Danger figures.

The one I've chosen (by way of it being the only one available to be without paying outrageous online prices), is the Hong Kong Brawl Gypsy Danger! I was really jazzed to get this one, as she came with the hilariously undersized cargo ship that she smacks Otachi around with. It's also got an all new sculpt than the previous versions, with easier to remove ball-joints on the wrists and forearms, allowing for some interchangeability between clenched fists, and grasping hands. Though not my favorite Jaeger (Striker Eureka takes that spot), this Gypsy Danger is still a much-needed addition to my slowly growing Pacific Rim collection!

So after looking around online, I see the LEGO minifigures Hot Dog Man going for stupid prices. Went to a local comics and entertainment expo here and there were dealers selling him for $20 and up, except for ONE guy who was selling him for just slightly more than normal price. $5 for the Hot Dog dude! A buck more than normal price. Bought on sight! Now I can die happy.

(that's not his normal head, I swapped it out for another lego dude's head because it made the picture funnier)

Gift card + relatively cheap prices + lack of interest in TFs means I've been scooping up these Terra Dinosaurs. I think I'm the only one buying any of the Terra figures...

Sometimes, when you're setting up for a shot with your toys, and you want to add something else into the picture to make it funny/cool/interesting, a lot of thoughts go through your mind.

"I'm 32, what in the hell am I doing?"

"I wonder what normal people do."

"I just spent 20 minutes putting twist-ties on cookies, get at me ladies."

You know, the things everyone thinks about.

Speaking of something everyone should think about, check out my twitter!

To be honest, I find setting up toys and scenes are a great conversation starter with strangers.
I had great fun in Paris with Alpha Bravo, and both kids and adults came and asked me if it was for an 'internet thing' (I said 'sort of'). At home, my neighbours know I take photos of toys outside the flat, and I just let their kids help me out sometimes. :)

A set of MiniMates I found at a local comic & collectibles store! The Christmas village is there because that's my current background for reviews, but it makes the scene funnier.

LIS Minimates 4 b&w.JPG
Robot: "Doctor Smith, I would highly advise against touching that."

Smith: "Silence! You don't tell me what to do!"

LIS Minimates 5 b&w.JPG
Robot: "I told you not to touch it, didn't I?"

Smith: "JUST SHOOT IT, YOU BUBBLE-HEADED BOOBY!"

Chip The Ripper: "SO! Think you can make a snack outta ME, eh?"
