We got it, ok? It's just very rude to either proclaim something is god awful (which IMO this series is not), or the very best (which IMO this series is not), disregarding the views and opinions of others. If you hate it, fine, but don't drag it all over the thread.

I have already addressed this, there was absolutely no need for your post as it clearly has potential to prolong things.

Are people dense or do you not get joking? You all clearly should know being on the internet what :P means.

I mean come on. Stop taking life so hard, it isn't a dick.

And you should know by now that continued off-topic posts will result in further warnings.

Funny, I thought we came here to have fun. My mistake, I had no idea there was a Transformer show Nazi among us.

One can enjoy the show, not enjoy the show, whatever and still be allowed to joke and have fun while doing so, that is part of why people come to talk, to have a good time. We don't all have to agree or like everything everyone else does.

The only good thing about this bloody show is the character designs, everything else, nope.

Soo, about the show. Any guesses as to what will go down in the next episode? I know some people mentioned Megatron and Victorion. I wonder if it won't swap back to Starscream and co and leave us in suspense awhile longer.

I know it's a long shot but do you think Liokaiser will show up? It is possible Hasbro told Machinima about Liokaiser.

I wouldn't mind him showing up, but I think the cast of characters is pretty much set. Unless they're being sneaky, which would be kinda cool.

I hope not. the next episode will mark the halfway point of the show

Prior to this series, my view of Windblade had been positive. I'm still several years behind on IDW, so my first impression of her came from the RID cartoon, when I fell in love with her turbine attack.

A shallow reason? Maybe. But after a whole season of Autobot guns coming across as effectively useless, FINALLY this newcomer shows up with a unique ranged attack that can actually kerwhallop a Decepticon!

But here? It just didn't look as cool. All I could think of as she pushed Op over the edge was this clip I saw on PBS in the '90s, wherein the performer goes on about how he'd be this awesome crime fighter if he just had the world's most powerful hairdryer.

And when he pulls out his gun, and says "Go ahead, make my day",
I whip out my hairdryer, and I blow him away!
I'm Hairdryer-man...

Or something like that. I can never find novelty songs on the web when I really need to.
Anyone else remember that song? Cuz' I know it'll keep playing in my head whenever I rewatch this ep.

Episode 4 is up - https://www.go90.com/profiles/va_5c5908e732944a2ba306b4fa92e878d7

Just watched it and... surprisingly, this was the first episode I actually liked. Granted, the animation's still horrendous on the character models and the acting's still mediocre. But what made this episode for me was Megatron. His voice was so hokey that it was hilarious! And his dialogue was all over the place, varying from uber serious to so indifferent without a care in the world that the sheer variety and presence to his portrayal, combined with how ludicrously silly his mouth movement was animated, made him really entertaining in a "so bad it's awesome" kind of amusing way. He's instantly become my favorite character in this for how much of a joy he is to watch. More of this, please!

There was even a nice continuity callback to the Optimus prelude video.

That said, only three Constructicons appeared, didn't transform (Long Haul was in robot mode while Scrapper and Scavenger were in vehicle mode), and they bizarrely had JG1 Targetmaster/Armada Mini-Con/Prime Bumblebee-like communication beeps. Weird.

Though, Jon Bailey was a little better as Optimus in this one.

^ I have very similar thoughts. The episode was actually *kind of* good, and a bit longer this time (almost 6 minuets ). But its also kind of like the major league team that is in last place, half-way through the season, all of a sudden going on a 10-game win streak. it is nice...but isn't ultimately going to help much, unless of course you win a whole lot more.

I liked the exposition between Prime & Megatron, we get enough back story to make it almost meaningful. A few things I did not like...

1.The Constructicons -ther small budget for this series is really showing when they are regulated to the language of mini-cons
2. The awkward humor. -IN a series this bad thus far...I don't think they have earned the right to make jokes. Humor is a spice made to be used sparingly only in the very best of action series. I don't think any has done it better than Young Justice, but I know many may not think that is fair. I'm not trying to compare that series to CW...just giving an example. A joke like Megatron's jab at Prime's classic battle call would have worked on TF: Prime, or even RiD15, but on this series, it just seemed way out of place, and Windblades reaction made it only worse.

3. When someone (i.e. Megatron) says "Let Cybertron Burn!"...they have totally given up. No person or circumstance should change their outlook. In the original series episode "Revenge of Bruticus" Starscream said the same thing about Earth, and he was going to let it happen. It was only self preservation (being forced at gunpoint) that made him change his plan. In this series Megatron knew Starscream was on the council... How does them having the Enigma all of a sudden motivate Megatron? I didn't quite get it...

4. *Voice of Jeff Goldblum from Jurassic Park..." ..so...you do eventually plan to have COMBINERS...in your COMBINER WARS series right..(fogs up camera lens).? ---I get this sinking feeling that their "big climax" is going to be a battle between Devastator and Victorion...I hope there will be more to it than that.

Little "better" than the previous episode thus far. Don't know if it's because of what Sabr pointed out here that I agreed with or just that the plot for the whole thing is moving forward. I'm probably going to sit down after they're all out and watch them together to get a better feel for the episode. Didn't mind Megatron in this one either.

Took it's sweet time getting there, but this... 'series' finally got a likeable character. Megatron's just so snarky and savvy and clearly doesn't give a ****; I like him so far. He alone made this episode so much better than the others.
Shame there's no explanation why Scrapper, Long Haul and Scavenger were fighting him, though. No throwaway line to explain that? Optimus doesn't wanna know? We just gonna leave 'em there as if they were some training droids or whatever? Okay then, cool. Whatevs.

Talking of the place being empty, the Constructicons don't appear to be there aside from the start where they're fighting Megatron and the end where they're waking up. Maybe this is all Megatron's delusion.

I liked that Megatron told Windblade to shut up, in so many words. If only it had worked...

Seems like Megatron is wasting away, nothing to do but spar. He was defeated whenever the prelude episode took place so he's got nothing left.
I don't think the Constructicons can combine yet. Megatron changed his tune real quick once Optimus mentioned Starscream and the Enigma(let's not talk about Windblade's wildly out of place punch). I don't think he cares about Starscream at all though. His hate for SS is just an excuse, a way to hide his ulterior motives. He's gonna turn the Constructicons into Devastator and try to reclaim his former glory.

This show still isn't any better. The animation I think was worse in this episode than it's been all along. Megatron's mouth movements made no sense and didn't fit his words.

Windblade is just.... Ugggghhhh.... So terrible.

Megatron was better acted than anyone so far, but his lines are awful. The writer of this show can't write, at ALL, they should find a new job, because writing isn't for them.

I was so looking forward to this series and so hoping it would be on the quality of G.I.Joe Resolute and it simply isn't even close.

We're halfway through the show and we still have no idea WTF is really going on or why things are the way there are.

So much potential, so crappy.

IDW did a better job and their books are almost as bad as the G1 Marvel garbage....

TBH in regards to the constructicons the story telling is so bad they could be clones/facsimiles for all we know.

this show doesnt seem to be particularly intrested in explaining WTF is going on half the time.
