Did I miss an episode, or did Bumblebee not show up this season?

He did not, no. And only showed up in one episode during season 2 as well.

Anybody notice this yet? I went to see a movie today in a Studio Movie Grill theater and they had a commercial for a showing of three Rescue Bots episodes from season 3, to be played at 11:00 AM every weekend in August. I think that's pretty cool, so I'm probably going this weekend.

Here's a link to the info on their website:
https://www.studiomoviegrill.com/Movies.aspx

Just click on "Toons!" on the left and you'll see it's listing.

Cool!

I found the official trailer for it here - http://www.studiomoviegrill.com/ext/trailers/TransformersRescueBots/trailer.html

And since the trailer is a YouTube video, here it is on the Shout! Kids YouTube page - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWKwn5u2bx4

And embedded:

It seems to be a theatrical showing of the Transformers: Rescue Bots DVD Volume titled "Dinobots", which contains the season 3 episodes "Land Before Prime", "Big Game", "Quarry's Quarry", "Did You See What I Thaw?", and "The Attack of Humungado". Numerically, these episodes are episodes 53, 54, 62, 63, and 64, respectively. Within just season 3 itself, they are episodes 1, 2, 10, 11, and 12, respectively.

But since the running time given by Studio Movie Grill is just 66 minutes, based on the footage used in the trailer, it seems that only the first three episodes on the DVD will be screened.

And for those curious, these are not new episodes, as Season 3 has already finished airing.

I hear that the 4th season could be the final one! so sad, but I guess everything must come to an end sometime.

now I never said that it IS the final one! I said it could be! indicating that it's less than definite(meaning that when someone indicates something COULD happen...it doesn't mean to say that it actually IS going to happen! just bear that in mind)

anywhoo....here's where I got this from(btw if your not on Facebook! you might not see this page)

Ah, I see. It's the typical feeling that comes with any news season being done before another is greenlit. Same thing happened with season 3 back before it was renewed for a fourth season.

3 Transformers Rescue Bots: Switcheroo

So, we get Part 1 of an important two-parter (but not Part 2), three standalone episodes (this is fine), one of those being an episode that follows on from a previous space-themed episode (which is not included here), and the conclusion of the show's most important story arc (but which is unconnected to most of the eps on this set)?

*shrug*

Transformers: Rescue Bots - New Female Robot Character in Season Four

Transformers: Rescue Bots, nearing its fourth season soon, will apparently add a new female character to the cast, and she may very well be of Cybertronian origin! The confirmation comes from series writer and co-creator Nicole DuBuc, via fellow fansite TFW2005 member IceMagnus - no current further details, but you can check out the short Twitter exchange below.

I have no interest in Rescue Bots, but it's always nice to see females (and fembots) being more visible.

It's definitely a kiddie show for kids, but well written. Hopefully there will be less whining about whoever this new fembot turns out to be.

Which is par for the course of most every TF cartoon (the likes of Beast Machines and TF: Prime being exceptions rather than the norm). ;)

Arguably one of, in not the, most well written one we've ever got. :D

Huh? Less whining? Did some not like a previous fembot character in another show? Image

My son was 6 when the first RB episode premiered, he is 10 now. I just hope he hasn't outgrown RB by the time season 4 premiers. (he doesn't talk about it much now, or even watch the episodes on Netflix) For adults its no big deal to wait months, or even a year between seasons, but for kids it seems like forever. I have no vested interest in this show. PRIME was MY show, and until the next mature TF series comes along (hopefully the Machimina's CW), I patiently wait, but for my sons sake, I hope season 4 comes along soon. Probably spring 2016 I'm guessing however...

And I'd be willing to bet the Female Transformer is Windblade in a couple of episode rather than a new character series regular.

But, Windblade's over in RID right now, and not a Rescue Bot.

that's why I said Cameo just like BB & Optimus (who appeared in TF Prime & RB synonymously) Windblade would likely only appear in a couple of episodes

But would she be online at this point in time, though? Didn't she reactivate during RID season 1 (which takes place in the future from RB's present)?

In her first RID episode, I believe Windblade appeared from a Space Bridge (don't quote me its been a few months since I watched it) But whether she was a new creation on Cybertron's Post-Prime era, or a returning Autobot from deep space is never really explained.

Also the time between the end of TF Prime, current RB, and Future RID is a little sketchy. I know they are all supposed to be in an "Aligned" continuity, but without details, and different people working on each show, I really don't think Hasbro cares too much, unfortunately.

She woke up on Earth one month prior to her debut episode.

And if Bumblebee's still beeping in RB, then RB is still before RID.

That episode deserves to be awarded! One of the best, most entertaining episodes of the whole series. So much effort and love went into that one with everybody giving it their all to make it the most it could be.

If not that one, then "Switcheroo" would the next obvious choice to be nominated. :D

The key phrase in all of that of course being, Pre-School children. ;) Don't get me wrong, I'm glad youngsters have a fun, entertaining, safe show that is well written they can enjoy, and it shouldn't be taken from them. It's just that as an adult fan who has supported the brand since the very beginning, I'd like a show I can enjoy as well. TF: Prime was a perfect example of this.
