Comments like this are not welcome on this site. You don't have to agree with people, but there is absolutely NO reason for you to insult them.

I wrote "seemingly". Thats not really an insult, is it? However, I will edit my original comment. Stand by...

Considering I've quoted your original post, it's kinda pointless editing yours.

And now that we've had PXC's latest outburst in this thread, lets move back onto topic.

That's an unfortunate side effect of quotes. It also allows us to see posts made by other posters we may have blocked, too.

However, EDITING my post is surely the aim of your comment, is it not? You pointed out that I made a mistake, I acknowledged that and/or edited it to follow the rules.

I suppose a "worse" scenario would be that I just edited it without acknowledging it and/or then denying the whole thing?

Meta issues, I'm sure though.

To answer your question (not that I need to justify myself), no, the point of me calling you out wasn't to get you to edit the post. It was to point out that what you said is not appreciated, and it serves to let others know as well that it's not appreciated, and in certain cases when a post has been reported, it lets the people that reported the post know that staff have seen their report and taken action.

Now, when I said back on topic, I meant BACK ON TOPIC.

But hey, feel free to reply if you want a warning because that's what you'll get if you defy staff direction again.

Sigh, I edited my post because I agreed with you. Showing that I've edited it also shows an example to others of regular posters following the directions of the staff/site rules. Still, feel free to send a warning, if you feel it gives you a purpose in life. it's been a while, and my inbox is getting lonely.

Anyway, back on topic, if people are interested, and if I've got time, I'll risk it at work and try and scan the comics on my break. Anyone interested? I can do Topspin, Twintwist and Seaspray.

I don't want to get too much off topic, but I just wanted to say that I agree with everything that Black Hat said in his very thought-provoking "essay".
Also I thought I was the only person that knew who Mika Akitaka was, I love his art, and agree that he would be an awesome choice. He did design one of the best G1 combiners so having him return to the franchise would be so cool.
And yeah Transformers fans always do have a knee-jerk reaction to this type of subject matter in Transformers. I remember one time someone on Facebook wrote a post about how disgusted he was by Minerva being in a swim-suit during an episode of Masterforce, saying things about "Japan" and "jail-bait"......and I just thought "oh come on".
Oh and back on topic, to answer primalxconvoy question, if you could get the scans I would love to see them.
BTW I would do the whole "quote" thing, but I never seem to do it right.
Oh and as for an Manga artist I would love to see work on a Transformers series besides the ones already mentioned, since I love Evangelion and have been a fan of his for decades I would have to say Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.

I wouldn't restrict it just to TF fans, the whole world is becoming far too overly sensitive to things.

Thanks. I couldn't scan them today, as the only day that I had time free resulted in the printer and scanner being broken. I can do a camera scan though, like before.

As for "knee-jerk reactions", I disagree. Today, we live in a bigger and hopefully more inclusive world. This means that we have to think more before posting comments as we please online (see above), or make rash judgements when in positions of power in public or online, or even when we release media into the public domain. This means that our views on the status quo are going to be challenged, and I'm all for it.

And Wiki summaries for Twin Twist's and Topspin's comics:

Katsu Don makes another attempt at destroying the Legends World using Windblade as well as the mutant Autobot Targetmasters, who Windblade can manipulate through her bond with Pinpointer. The Wreckers arrive from the post-G2 era to aid in the world's defense only to be pinned down by the Targetmasters, and when Twin Twist breaks off to take on Windblade by himself, he gets decapitated. However, Twin Twist is aware of the Zodiac's existence in the Legends World and somehow calls it to his side, using its power to transform his severed head into a Headmaster and his body into a Zone Mode "Drill Base" that in turn uses its drills to generate electromagnetic waves that sever Windblade's connection to Spoilsport. Twin Twist grabs the Targetmaster and, revealing that his special ability is to grant any weapon the properties of a drill, unleashes a "Spoil Drill Hurricane" attack against Windblade that frees Peacemaker from her control.

Chromedome is surprised that Twin Twist can freely control Zodiac energy, and Springer explains that he and Topspin are space pioneers known as the Powered Masters... as well as the true creators of the Legends World. The two Jumpstarters tell Katsu Don "long time no see" and invite him to test who's stronger—them, the creators of this world, or Windblade, its destroyer.

In the year 2004 of the G1 World, Topspin and Twin Twist hear about the Legends World from Whirl and Roadbuster, and as space pioneers and Powered Masters, think it would be nice to establish a paradise of a world someday. Decades later in the G2 era, they two are asked by Katsu Don for their cooperation in creating an experimental new universe also named "Legends", and realize he must be talking about the same world since time has no meaning when it comes to alternate dimensions. Concluding that they must create the Legends World or else Whirl and Roadbuster will never be born, they steal the Zodiac, inspired by Dai Atlas's using it to create a new planet in Planet Z's solar system, and use it in conjunction with Zamojin telepathic powers and the Space Pirates' proton energy to create the Legends World.

Katsu Don is outraged that the Jumpstarters have broken their promise not to interfere with their creation and sics Windblade on Topspin, but he easily avoids her thanks to having used the Zodiac to become a Headmaster—this combined with being a Powered Master and Targetmaster grants him the power of a Triplemaster—and calls upon the Zodiac to recreate everything Windblade and the Targetmasters have destroyed. Katsu Don himself enters the fray, insisting that the Legends World is dangerous because of its connection to the powers of the Zamojin and must be destroyed, but the Jumpstarters, determined to defend their creation, combine into a vehicle form known as Attack Powered and soundly defeat him and Windblade. With Windblade restored to normal once again and Katsu Don captured, Springer assumes all's well that ends well. However, the Jumpstarters, now having recovered all three mutant Targetmasters, tell him it's not over yet...

*slams her fist into her open palm, an anime sign for "I got it!"*

Right, because of the motorised springloaded gimmick of their G1 toys! The original Powered Masters had either: Dai Atlas has the motor, while Sonic Bomber and Road Fire were springloaded! It all makes sense now!

Plus, because they're also Headmasters and Targetmasters in this too, at the same time as being Powered Masters, their having the abilities of three different "-master" variations simultaneously in turn makes them be Triplemasters like Super Ginrai (who is a Headmaster, Godmaster, and Getmaster all at once).

Snippits of Grand Maximus's and Greatshot's comics have been posted.

In Greatshot's comic, Star Saber appears (drawn in his cartoon/MP look, so not a new toy) to team up with Greatshot. Jetfire can also be seen in the background as well.

While in Grand Maximus's comic, a villainous face from the past makes his return: Scorponok (the little guy, known as Zarak in the West; not the bigger guy, known as MegaZarak in Japan) has finally come to the Legends World and has a brand new (and GIGANTIC!!!) BlackZarak Transtector that is a virtual redeco of Doublecross/Twinferno's body, the Scorponok Headmaster that came packaged with TR Grotusque, and a red version of the trident accessory that came packaged with 2010 Terradive.

Devil Z is also back again and he, along with Scorponok serving as BlackZarak's Headmaster, serves as BlackZarak's Getmaster, inserting himself into the cockpit within BlackZarak's chest.

The notion of using the Twinferno/Doublecross toy as the inspiration for BlackZarak comes from the original BlackZarak's Dakatsu Mode, which was a two-headed demonic serpent beast.

Image

Now, keep in mind, this is NOT a confirmation of new Legends BlackZarak toy, as it could entirely be just Sakamoto having fun, as there have been other virtual redecos seen in the Legends manga that have not been made into toys, such as the blue Rumble/Frenzy, or Wilder from Fangry. At this time, we have no way of knowing if this is anything more than just a bout of fun, so let's not get our hopes up too high if this doesn't lead to any toy release.

Courtesy of users from the Transformers fan group on Facebook Hobbymizer - a regular source of Transformers news - we have some partial images from the manga comics that will accompany the Takara Tomy Legends releases of LG-EX Grand Maximus and Greatshot.

You can read a full explanation and check out the images below, as fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade takes us through what's what, but you'lll be glad to hear about the appearance of Star Saber and Black Zarack in the comics!

While not confirmed that’s gotta be a future Mall or Ehobby thing. I’ll spend $60-80 on that I don’t care.

Then again still never got Jhiaxus or that bludgein teased.

I just want a good scorponok. I know a lot want a titan class but I want a voyager maybe lease class. I don’t like him being massive. I’ll even settle if one of those companies that’s KO legends scale figures like mechfanstoys does a voyager size of iron factory lord scorpion.

After reading the articles for Topsin and Twintwist comics I’m left wondering “does takara not like Windblade?”

They’ve really made her quite unlikeable.
