OH MY F**KING GOD!!!! That is a new level of epic! I can barely contain myself.

I'm going to speculate that the most they'll do is maybe have an interim Prime (like how Hot Rod took up the mantle in G1, or how Hot Shot and Cheetor lead in Armada and Beast Machines respectively) until Optimus returns with his new body.

On another note, was that Bumblebee in a primarily black paint scheme?

Nice spot...and it looks like the Shadow Strike Bee deco.

Wait...wait wait wait. Did a random redeco of Bee just ACTUALLY become screen accurate!?

I loathe the PRiD Bee mold as Bumblebee. I'll need to pimp out my FE Bee. >:oP

Bee does look a bit different, yes. But, not quite the Shaodw Strike deco, no gray chin for one thing.

Most we can tell from this are the new black stripes on his helmet.

In any case, I'll probably need a 2nd FE Bee after this season.

Unless it's not a permanent cosmetic change, like battle damage or something that can be cleaned off.

Hm. Funny, Hasbro has released tons of Bumblebees, and even released a Beast Hunters Bumblebee, yet the show gets a completely random new Bumblebee deco for Beast Hunters. Gotta love Hasbro, another Bumblebee's on the way, unless the only Bumblebee they don't make is the screen-accurate one.

In that case, the character is still dead. They're body, however, is not. It is an animated corpse. And they wouldn't dare zombify Optimus Prime. ;)

ok....you got me on that one. :APPLAUSE: ...
and i agree...zombifying prime would be BS...i just pray this season is good.... :BOT: :CON:

Yes. Yes he was. Too late, they've already done it.

Yeah, in G1. 27 years ago. I'm talking about Prime, where they brutally slaughter sons of bitches and don't bring them back. "Dark Awakening" isn't a Prime episode. Optimus dies and becomes a zombie here, kids lock themselves in bathrooms again just like in 1986 because they'd have to keep him that way. Do you honestly think Hasbro hasn't learned anything since then?

The difference between "Dark Awakening" zombifying Optimus and the idea of TF: Prime zombifying him is how each one portrays their zombies.

"Dark Awakening" had Optimus more under mind-control rather than truly being what we think of as a zombie. Optimus still had some bits of his own mind intact and tried to fight the control of the Quintessons' handiwork that was done to him. He was more of a self-aware puppet than a zombie. And, Optimus's condition was eventually revealed to be reversible, with him breaking free of the Quints' control and later beiung fully restored to normal life in "The Return of Optimus Prime".

TF: Prime's Terrorcon zombies, however, are mindless, ruthless, animalistic monsters, driven only by a blind, primal desire to kill and destroy. They are only empty shadows of their former selves, with their original personalities replaced wholesale by vicious savagery. And, as far as we've seen, it is an irreversible condition whose only cure is a decisive kill that silences the beast for good. Optimus Prime getting turned into one of these would be a disastrous move for Hasbro, and would pretty much be a direct insult to this show's good name. Literally.
