Kingdom's getting a soundtrack album. The track listings contain vague spoilers for the cartoon.
Hasbro will release a new soundtrack album for the third part of the Netflix original anime series Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy. The album features selections of the original music from the third and final part of the trilogy (Kingdom) composed by Alexander Bornstein (First to the Moon, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Black Site Delta, Paradox, The Last Heist). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 29 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes. Hasbro has previously released two albums featuring the composer’s score from the first and second parts of the trilogy (Siege & Earthrise). Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Kingdom based on Hasbro’s toy franchise is produced by Rooster Teeth, Allspark Animation & Polygon Pictures and is set to premiere next month on Netflix.

Here’s the album track list:

1. Kingdom (1:15)
2. Faith (Allspark Theme) (2:26)
3. Maximals Vs. Predacons (Theme Suite) (2:59)
4. Rescue (2:28)
5. Prime Saves Primal (2:50)
6. The Matrix Returns To Prime (4:10)
7. Temple Battle (3:56)
8. Ascension (2:55)
9. Titan / It’s Over (2:25)
10. Elita In The Snow (2:37)
11. Galvatron And Nemesis Prime (2:59)
12. Fight For The Future (4:06)
13. Sparks Return (1:35)
14. Cybertron Reborn (Elita And Prime) (2:50)
15. Peace / Unicron Epilogue (2:29)

So the soundtrack comes out the same day as the show...Interesting in that...Of all the criticisms with this show, the soundtrack is usually, another one. Not that it is necessarily bad, but that it is forgettable. I've watched Siege and ER in their entirety 3 times, and I can't recall at the moment anything special or significant about the music score. Kind of like a generic Tron theme. I guess we will see. maybe as they claim, Most of the Budget for EVERYTHING went to this 3rd series, not just animation. Still we are a little less than 2 months away, and no trailer yet. I'm sure it's coming soon. But you know, as soon as any BW character's voice is heard, and it's (obviously), not going to be one of the familiar mainframe cast, fans are going to :BOOM: . I don't necassarily blame them. Original Transformer fans like myself weren't exactly happy with the non-union talent they got, but some of the voices were familiar from past Transformers work.

Honestly, some of the characters that didn't appear much (Alpha Trion, Skylynx etc...) sounded pretty good.

I mean, we've already had Optimus Primal and Cheetor voiced by other people.

Heck, even Blackarachnia and Waspinator back in Animated.

True. But those were odd. Ron Perlman, arguably a well known/ well liked actor especially among cult films, seemed to be in a no win situation. In a low production series like Prime wars, I'm not even sure why he did it. People really like Ron Perlman, but he was in the wrong show, doing the wrong voice. I personally don't think it was that bad, but people connect that character so strongly to gary Chalk.

As for Waspinator and BA in animated. Most people understood those were different versions of the characters, plus animated was well liked by most fans, and the VA's did try to bring a familiarity to their performances, so it was probably well received.

I really don't care about Cyberverse, so I have no recollection of how Cheetor was, and it is seems to be the consensus that not many people noticed.

However for this Kingdom show, it obviously draws heavily form the original BW animated series. In the same way Siege and ER did for the original Transformers. While not being the same, there are still going to be expectations. Even though I have no idea what he sounds like, I wouldn't be shocked if they got the Cheetor VA from Cyberverse to do the same voice in Kingdom (non-union talent and all). I mean they did the same thing with Optimus, and that is a good example.

I'm not sure enough people watched Cyberverse to care what the Optimus actor sounded like in that series, but as soon as you heard him in WFC doing a version of Optimus that most people associate with Pete Cullen, he got destroyed on the internet for his performance (or lack thereof).

To be fair, I'd argue that Cyberverse was watched a lot, otherwise Hasbro wouldn't have continued it as they have.

I'd say "padded out" more than continued, but to each their own. It's entire three seasons (if compared to regular 1/2 hour episodes) only makes 31 episodes of content, that is compared to some series that have 13 episodes per season, and others that can do 26 or more.

Cyberverse then gets 2 more *movies* this fall, and a few more toys to go with it, but it seems more of desperation than anything else. Hasbro didn't want to have NOTHING to offer kids in the Transformers Brand for a whole 18 months, so until the Nickelodeon show is ready, they asked Boulder Media to slap together a little more content to hold them over.

Looks like they realised who is shelf warming and going to shelf warm some more by giving them more screen time.

like the very first realisation Primal wasnt going to be done by Garry Chalk, its even more dissapointing to hear from the apes mouth. I'ts not even a good voice too, the music in the clip didnt help :( hopefully it doesnt detract from the show for me.

Well, seems like the voice acting hadn't improved. At all. Optimus's voice actor sucks, and it seems Primal's will be no better. Looking at it financially, I kinda get why they didn't get Peter Cullen, but I doubt Garry Chalk demands the same high fee, they at least could have gotten him. I'll still watch it, because I saw the 1st 2 parts, but I don't have high hopes. Basically I just want to see what happens to Elita, Megatron and Shockwave. They were the only characters who interested me by the end of Earthrise.

They went with non-union talent, so the price didn't matter. If someone was a member of the SAG-AFTRA (which I'm sure Cullen and Chalk are, especially Chalk since he has been popping up in more movies lately), they weren't even considered. It's kind of sad. Machinima's Prime Wars went to the length to actually get some talented actors, some former Transformers Veterans etc.... but it looked like garbage, and most of the actors you couldn't hear what they were saying due to bad music/audio mixing.

So for WFC. Netflix decides to up the animation budget (slightly), but go "cheap" when it comes to voice talent, and directing.

There are so many moving parts (no pun intended) to any production whether it be live action, or animated. If you decide to cut corners in any area, the fans will know.

Yeah, even if they had gotten back the original BW voice cast, the acting still would have sucked since the voice direction staff is still the same. Garry Chalk is a capable actor, but is not incapable of giving bad performance. Several episodes of Armada and Energon can attest to that.

No more than there was in the original Beast Wars cartoon.

Thanks to Seibertronian Sabrblade and many others, we have our first look at the third chapter of Netflix and Rooster Teeth's Transformers War for Cybertron Trilogy, Kingdom! The footage comes from the YouTube video, "New on Netflix | July 2021", which highlights upcoming shows and movies for Netflix US in, you guessed it, July 2021! The Kingdom clip starts 9:22 in, though the video is unfortunately region-locked to the United States.

The clip itself features our first look at the Maximals in robot mode, as well as the voice of the boss monkey himself, Megatron in beast mode, and a sinister Ultra Magnus!

Below is an un-region-locked YouTube mirror!

A reminder that our previous news on the Kingdom chapter is two posters from the NetflixGeeked Twitter of the Maximals and Predacons watching the Ark and Nemesis fall to Earth, with the release date of July 29th! There is also the soundtrack for preorder from Amazon with potential spoilers!

Check out screenshots and the two posters from Kingdom below and sound off your thoughts on the Pub forums below!

Unrelated, they are going non union so they cant take any uno
Ionized actor, no matter how cheap they are.

I know almost nothing about beast wars, but isn't cheetor and tigatron suppose to have different designs? Looks like they maybe just upscaled and changed the color to make tigatron. Maybe this is accurate or not though.

Also I really hate how cheap this whole show feels. So many reuses of models and not even getting them accurate (Exhausts head). pretty sure I can count the total number of unique onscreen transformations on one hand too.

Cartoon Tigatron was basically upscaled cheetor with a different head and chest in robot mode
OG tigatoy was just a straight repaint of cheetor

I don't know if adding "evil Ultra Magnus" as the article thumbnail was a good idea, some might consider that a spoiler.

But isn't the money the main reason they're going non-union? Because it costs less? And of course they don't have to be restricted by union rules? I mean, whatever the reason, they should have gotten Cullen and Chalk. It would have been worth it.

Also, was I the only one who thought the Kingdom Magnus toy was a cheap money grab by changing the cab and the deco a bit? Turns out there will be onscreen support for it, regardless of who or what this new Magnus actually is.
