We DON'T know who the Dinobot is!
And even if it is Grimlock, it would be the first time we had a green one:
Actually, looking at that convinces me even more that it's Grimlock. This green dinobot looks like a cross between Grimlock, Godzilla and that RID Grimlock. He has the same blocky armor parts and colour scheme, it kinda looks like Animated Grimlock wearing RID Grimlock as a suite. I guess they did that on purpose, now both RID Grimlocks are green.
I have to say, the latest trailer does looks much better, but it just doesn't feel the same as Prime, which I think is a shame. But I'll give it a try. I do like how the toys remind me of the Animated toyline though.

^ Thanks to NYCC news, we NOW know that it's Grimlock. But back when I wrote that, we didn't yet know.

Ah Ok, I only looked at the toy pics without reading to be honest, so I completely missed the names, which is pretty sad concidering that that was the whole reason I even clicked on the news to begin with ...

Grimlock is green. The franchise is ruined forever.
No, but it would be nice if the rest of the Dinobots show up at some point, now that it's confirmed as Grimlock.

After watching the trailers, it seems to me that Strongarm is indeed a female bodybuilder-type Transformers, due to her name, looks, and size. But many have speculated that she might be a spiritual successor to Arcee, in the same way as Grimlock to Bulkhead. As for Steeljaw (who is based on the AOE Steeljaw), he only has a robot mode with a beast's head. His vehicle mode is a blue monster truck. In the trailer as shown, he forms an army of Decepticons with beast-like qualities, including a shark-like Decepticon. Do many of these beast-like Decepticon have vehicle modes or robot modes, or both if any? What are their names? Just like Bumblebee, Steeljaw will in fact take over Megatron's place. However, there is a huge chance that Megatron will show up in the show, just like Optimus did.

It's psj333. Everything he posts has no known answer.

OK, the animation looks a lot better in these clips than previously seen. I am beginning to like the show, but can't bring myself to think of it as canon with Prime; and the toys look like the cheapest of the cheap plastic. Also, why oh WHY do all the subtitles have to be the same old "ROBOTS IN DISGUISE" "MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE" garbage? WE GET IT. A huge green and black dinosaur is not IN DISGUISE though. Give me a break. It does look like a fun show though, but not to be taken seriously. I loved Prime and the toys. Oh well, I'm glad I'll be able to use money for classics/takara/masterpiece/3rd party toys now for a while.

They mentioned him being on a prison ship so I'm guessing the Autobots "branded him" a Decepticon. Doesn't sound like Dinobots have their own faction the way Predacons do.

I don't like the sound of this.
Everything else seems fine. Just the thing with Grimlock has me concerned.

"We need to look like something the humans will accept. We need to be Robots in Disguise.(roll credits) What? Oh, sure Grimlock, you can be a giant robot dinosaur, whatever works, man."

Why does Grimlock talk like that? And what the hell doesn't Grimlock have to chose an Earth mode for? The show hasn't even come out, and it's already got plot holes. I can't see myself liking this. The animation, alone is going to annoy the hell out of me. Especially the human animation.

I hope this (ex?)Decepticon Grimlock is not the same Grimlock who was in the TF Prime comics. I hope one of the storylines features another, more aligned Grimlock, pissed at this Decepticon who has stolen his name...

Bisk reminds me of Roberto from Futurama, for some reason. Why does Grimlock sound like Cyborg? Not that I'm complaining, he actually sounds pretty cool.

He is voiced by Khary Payton.

I agree.
Not to be racist. But, GRIMLOCK SHOULD NOT BE BLACK!!! I apologize to anybody I have offended in the comment. But he should always be the thick headed egomaniacal dunce that we all fell in love with. And he should be silver. Or copper. OR ANYTHING BESIDES GREEN! (I will call him Greenlock from now on.)
Oh and Bisk?! Oh dear god.

all i can say is i am liking this series more and more
though the thing with grimlock i think that might change to the autobrand in later episodes.
Strong arm i think she'd get along well with Arcee and Jack and some of the others of Team Prime

That was kinda offensive, dude. Honestly, this new Grimlock doesn't bug me that much. He's been green before, as many others before me have pointed out (Car Robots Hurricrane, AOE Grimlock's patina). And he's still a thick-headed, ego-maniacal dunce. He's just a slightly more verbose dunce.

there is nothing wrong with grimlock being an ex-con (no pun intended) it adds to his character makes things more interesting
