Thanks to a notification from fellow Seibertron.com user Cyberpath, and found on fellow fan Daniel Arseneault's account on Twitter, we have mirrored below a number of transformation animation sheets for characters starring in the 1986 Transformers animated feature! These were not included in The Ark collection, we are told, so they might be the first time some of us will encounter them - take some time below with Hot Rod, Arcee, Springer, Kup, Ultra Magnus, Wreck-Gar, Blurr and their weapons, with some extra material for Hot Rod.

Though it begs the question - did the animators just lose the Hot Rod sheet while working, and that's how we ended up with like fifty different sequences for the times he changes form in the movie?

Never realized how close Masterpiece Ultra Magnus' transformation is to his animation model.

It must be very disorienting to be Ultra Magnus...always transforming facing backwards from the direction you were just facing.

Ultra Magnus: Where'd everybody go?
Springer: Other way, Magnus.
Ultra Magnus: Oh, heh...yeah...
