I was hoping Prowl might be the focal point in SOTW. It seems appropriate...or it would have 5 years ago. John has been doing so much with him it wouldn't seem proper anymore for his story to end in Nick's hands. Then again I don't think that series will end with prowls life. Everything seems pretty great for November! I'm looking forward to seeing Sky-byte again!

Really hope James has gotten his over meta writing out of him and we can focus on the crew and the quest again. Past couple months of MTMTE have been some of lowest in the series.

Sky-Byte is back with the Cons...

Well, I guess his beef was with the Constructicons, who haven't been wearing the badge for a while now. Makes sense he'd stop living on Starscream's Cybertron after he brought the green guys into the fold.

Prowl's story has definitely shifted since, yes, I agree. Though he is currently a 'fugitive' of sorts too..

I think it's more likely that Soundwave is still recruiting, as it were, and that Needlenose is having an impact on the potential New Cons on Cybertron, after the events of TF #43. :-?

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet. Sky-Byte is very conflicted but so are the Decepticons at the moment. They don't want to fight anymore (aside from Galvatrob) and they are okay with Autobots(some of them are) they just want to be left alone and be equals. Doesn't matter what your faction is as long as you don't believe in a Prime. Right now even cosmos is having doubt

On the contrary, I think this coming now is incredible. Wreckers v. Prowl? Damaged Goods vs. Damaged Goods. Oh, and it features Arcee and Kup, so the tagline really ought to be: "Damaged Goods vs. Damaged Goods, feat. Damaged Goods w/ Damaged Goods"

I really need to write down my theory on where this is all headed before much more material comes out. If it's right, it won't look as clever if yet more evidence appears :-?

Interesting that Victorion still has a presence. I found Combiner Hunters to be very trite and skippable, but I guess they're running with it. Though Primus knows how having a combiner who's FIERCELY loyal to "The Living Prime" is going to upset the political balance.

Yeah but it just feels pretty late in the game for prowl and the wreckers and who says its him vs them. As much as I do and wanted prowl to be the focal point of this. It just feels what prowl has done lately is more important than what he's done in the past. Nick and James handled him a total of like 5 issues where as John has been dealing with prowl for 45 issues. But like I said I don't see this series being the end of Prowl. John has invested too much to have him be resolved in another series not by him.

Happy to agree to disagree on this point :) He's had a pretty huge impact on the Wreckers.

I believe that is precisely why she'll be kept around.

I suspect they're setting Prowl up to be the bad guy in issue #50, and I wouldn't be surprised if he survived this kidnapping and the Wreckers to die right afterwards. The Wrecker issues should conclude in the beginning of March, just before issue #50 is released. "Sins of the Wreckers" sure sounds like they're planning to pull everything dark he did and then some, except maybe explain the nose bleeds and whoever was in his head issue #35 (?). Although, at this point almost everyone has been in there! I wouldn't be surprised if somehow Trepan got in his mind.

Who kidnapped Prowl? Rattap? Really, he needs to lure in the Wreckers over Starscream's scheming lackey?

Personally I think he could be interesting as someone who sees war possibilities lurking around every corner, unable to ever trust peace, another type of casualty of extended war. They set that idea up in Combiner Wars.

Though I have this image of him somehow ending up on Elita-1's force as her strategist for dealing with Cybertron :p

I kind of feel like we're waiting for the penny to drop on the whole "Prime as God" storyline, either in the classic way where through his actions Prime shows himself to be less than godly to the Mistress of Flame and is turned on, or some other way.

The question is, what book is going to handle it? EX-RID has been moving off Cybertron and Windblade's off sightseeing the Epcot pavilions.

Oh man, I cannot wait! Wreckers return, and hopefully springer lives. Kinda interested to see where Prowl's story is going. Finally Cyclonus v. Getaway! Victorion returns!! I'm all ready for this! :BOT:

A motorcycle with handlebars the size of Prime's arm. I get mass shifting is involved, but still.

I thought Rack'n'Ruin died what is he doing on a cover?

Could be just an art thing but thought I might point that out.

Also I see Armada Sparkplug walking with Roadbuster wonder what he will bring into the story you guys think he is a Wrecker or just a friend?

I feel like this will include past events, and Rack'n'Ruin may be involved in the past. And it would not surprise me that Roadbuster has found a minicon partner related to a colony :BOT:

I'm sure he'll try to get SOME kind of power base, since he lost his team. That is to say, others who can't stop fighting and allow themselves to accept the peace.

At this point, given what we saw in Punishment, the Dinobots wouldn't be too far off his line of thinking. Heck, SIDESWIPE is just as likely.
