Hello everyone!

Since their inception as a comic, The Transformers have had a whole lot of comic-only Transformers. These are characters who either only have a comic version (from any series) or who have a comic and toy form. Who is your favorite? Who are your favorites? Post your answers below!

Thanks!

G2 Jhiaxus
Straxus
Thunderwing
Scrounge

And I know these technically don't qualify, but I prefer Powermaster Prime's, Fort Max's and Scorponok's G1 comic personalities to their cartoon versions. Yes, I know there is no "Powermaster Prime" in the Masterforce cartoon. It's Super Ginrai.

Thunderwing?

Thundeerwing was never a "COMIC ONLY CHARACTER".

So have you got a favorite Comic Only character? I'm just looking for as much feedback as possible, from fans.

I don't know about favorite, but The Last Autobot was certainly a memorable comic only TF, what with his face being an Autobrand and all.

The weird siamese twin like merge between Megatron and Ratchet was memorable as well, though obviously their separate individuals weren't comic only, just the merge. Google shows that apparently several industrious individuals have even kitbashed their own version as a toy. I love that sort of "why not" attitude.

Straxus was cool, but isn't comic only since "Darkmount" came out.

Which TV series did Thunderwing appear in?

none................but he was a toy.

the definition of a "comic only character" is a character that, in thec era of his introduction, only appeared in the comics and not the tv show or toyline.

In a way, but actually, I'm trying to get feedback for both areas. To me, "Comic-Only" means exactly that. However, in doing research, I'm realizing that many of those who I thought were "Comic-Only" actually have toy versions as well (Jhiaxus, Primus, Impactor, etc.). That meant that these latter characters are technically not "Comic-Only."

And that is why I'm curious about the "Comic-Only with Toy." For this group, I'm thinking about those who got a START as a comic character and then got a toy version afterwards. Thunderwing would actually not count, as he got his TOY before he appeared in the comics. It's a subtle distinction, but an important one nonetheless.

I hope this clarifies any confusion with the thread.
