Posted: Sun Apr 24, 2016 8:50 amive no prob with the changes in primes personality this arc as its obvious to anyone with eyes combining into optimus maximus has changed him.
yeah we all think immediatly of prowl but look at the OTHER lads. ironhides a good sort but stuborn as feck, sunstreakers a narcarsistic sociopath, and mirage's a snob.
thats ALOT of ego to deal with being blended into your mind.
interestingly i think this has effected the others too. sunstreaker seems WAAAAAAY too conscerned for sideswipe IMO. especially considering how theyve acted around each other up to now in the IDWverse. he'd be conscerned of course but "OMG my BRO!" no thats not him. so there might be a bit of prime effecting the other lads in the group too.
the gas thing is IMO this all ties into what galvatron was up to arcs back when he polished off the last ancient headmasters- and indeed his intense distate of combining and the enigma in the first place.
i though he was just being a bigot, but it looks iike he had a point. combination seems to attack the "soul/mind" of the combinee. diluting your very being if you will. not a million miles away from neurosurgery if ya think about it.
gotta give barber props for that if its what he intended.
right now though the thing with starscream is getting to me. he keeps going on about how he's the soverign of cybertron but TBH i cant see anyone who objects to him just fecking off and starting their own community elsewhere on the planet as right now he's more "ruler of iacon"
TBH at this stage i just wish someone would go dig up trypticon, convert his corpes to city mode, and go live there flipping screamer the bird.
