Thanks to CBR comics we now have the solicitations for the upcoming IDW Transformers comics coming out in December. Among those comics are Transformers: Lost Light, the successor to More Than Meets The Eye and starring the same crew. Also coming out will be Transformers: Optimus Prime #2, which appears to feature a ship from a very familiar source. Also up to bat are the latest Till All Are One comic, the first TPB for Till All Are One, and a new hardcover book of the Autocracy, Monstrosity, and Primacy books all in one big collection. You can check out all the Previews below, and make sure to take some time to subscribe to these series at your local comic shop!

I want to know why Rodimus changes his colors. And how MTMTE 57 will end if titan wars is happening in TAAO

ok...so all the IDW TF comics for the last quarter of the year are:

SEPTEMBER:
TF #57
MTMTE #57
TAAO#4
REVOLUTION #1
REVOLUTION #2

OCTOBER:
REVOLUTION #3
TAAO REVOLUTION #1
REVOLUTION #4
TF REVOLUTION #1

NOVEMBER:
MTMTE REVOLUTION #1
REVOLUTION #5
TAAO#5
OPTIMUS PRIME#1

DECEMBER:
LOST LIGHT #1
OPTIMUS PRIME#2
TAAO #6

(not counting any of the other Hasbro titles crossing over with Revolution, only Transformers)

did I miss any??

I still think they should have waited until January to start everything over at the same time...all the number sequences are out of wack. Also, I doubt this will ever happen, but it would be a nice little nod to the fans that are actually keeping track sequentially if they made space, if not on the cover, then somewhere inside the issue, even the corner of the first or last page to write a # so that fans like myself that consider these as just one big series would make sense (case in point if the Titans Return one shot said #300 on it or something..)

There was no need for this. It was a harmless comment that I personally really liked actually, and he wasn't creating issues. So please, no more of that.

And besides, I like a Hot Rod that is done up in new colors and these colors look good.

Guys, no bickering. Sly made a comment (outside of the movie forums, no less!) and it was fine. Deadput, that was a bit over the line. Keep it civil.

As for these releases, I'm interested in The Lost Light, but I'm a bit confused. I thought that was the book that supposed to pick up the story from MTMTE. So MTMTE #57 is the last in the series followed by TLL?

And is TAAO the continuation of Transformers (formerly Robots in Disguise)? I thought that TAAO was a limited run.

So it'd be easier for Hasbro to sell a repaint of his upcoming TR figure, of course.

Lost Light is indeed the continuation of MTMTE, so yes, there is MTMTE 57, MTMTE Revolution, a month off, then Lost Light, which is basically season 3 of MTMTE.

TAAO is its own ongoing, basically picking up from the Windblade series with the same writing team.

Transformers: Optimus Prime is the continuation of the ex-RiD comic, basically season 3 of ex-RiD

We've seen the regular cover for the IDW Transformers: Autocracy Trilogy volume in the December solicitations here, but we now also have a variant cover from artist Livio Ramondelli himself, for the volume collecting Autocracy, Primacy and Monstrosity (at some point also called the Cybertronian Trilogy, but what are you gonna do?). Check out the Optimus-centric art below!
