Yeesh...this is bad. I had to turn on the subtitles, because I had no idea what Soundwave said. Turns out not only are they laughably bad...

It would be awesome if the voice actors could attend a convention and redub am episode at a panel, using the YouTube subtitles as a script

YouTube has ways of creating subtitles, two of them are user submissions, which isn't taken seriously by some, and auto-generation, I'm assuming it's interpreting the sound and trying to find words. The latter needs work it looks like.

I had no trouble hearing the dialogue on my end, with no headphones or external speakers used either. Soundwave said "Your efforts are futile."

Wouldn't the UK be western Europe though? Not doubting the story mind, just that the UK is definitely not central or Eastern :)

Hmm, wait another 5 weeks for it to start airing on TV, or continue to watch Hasbro release the episodes on Youtube (up to episode 3 last I checked)?

Agreed, considering the only countries in europe more westerly than the UK are Ireland, Spain and Portugal.

Personally I had no problem hearing the dialogue on the Machinima series either, but I'm not going to ignore the fact that, that series had tons of audio issues.

As for Cyberverse, the dialogue is fine when there is no background noise, but Soundwaves effects and synth audio made it very difficult to understand, for me at least. Heck, Megatron even seemed to have an Aussie accent at times, and we know that can't be right ;)

Soundwave sounds an awful lot like Reaper from Overwatch here.

Honestly, wasn't as bad as I thought it was goign to be. Windblade is far less annoying than usual, and Bumblebee isn't any worse than usual. Starscream was thoroughly amusing.

Was quite surprised to discover Optimus' isn't voiced by Mr. Cullen, but someone who is clearly trying to mimic him. With that said, he comes across as terribly stiff and not so approachable as the Prime of old.

It has potential. I'll give it that much.

Two pieces of news in one concerning the new animated series Transformers: Cyberverse! First up, the new episode - fourth in the series - is now available (as of Saturday morning, US times) on both on TV and on its Cartoon Network website and app.

Additionally, we also have titles as synopses for episodes 9 and 10 in the series, courtesy of the website TV passport, and it seems like the 'new' Decepticon character is due for her debut soon ! Check it out below, and join the conversation in the Energon Pub!

Shadowstriker Oct. 14, 2018
Bumblebee revisits memories of his arch-nemesis Shadowstriker and learns there's more to being a hero than just knowing how to fight.

MacCadam's Oct. 14, 2018
Bumblebee remembers MacCadam’s, his favorite hangout on Cybertron.

Episode 4 is also on Youtube, probably region free, thanks to a heads-up from user Sabrblade.

Yep, of COURSE the Irish TV Production company is the one to introduce tghe oldest Transformers Pub in fiction to the children's TV show. But I oddly can't wait to see how they handle it.

Also, Rescue Bots had High Tide mention the pub as well.

Ugh....It's funny how a fangeek mispronunciation addressed in a BW episode over 20 years ago, rears it's head again. Great research there on the part of Cyberverse writing staff.

Prime repeatedly saying TeleTRON, like nails on a chalkboard. :BANG_HEAD:

[Inset obligatory Star Trek parody joke] What did Bumblebee see when he went to use the toilet? ;)

Answer (the first two words spoken in this episode)

Watched a little of this, and I found Bumblebee hilarious. I liked that they at least attempted to do the whole Bayverse thing of "Bumblebee can't talk".

Windblade is a welcome modern "regular cast" Autobot. Like the Seekers, and one of them appears to be a female Decepticon? What's up with Grimlock?

There's two female cons: Slipstream and Shadow Striker (I think)

Yeah, but he meant Nova Storm. Slipstream hasn't appeared yet.

Well that's annoying, I wonder why they did that? I would have still recorded it off cartoon network to rewatch so they would have still got the viewers.

Good thing there's still KimCartoon to fall back on for that, on which the episode should be up sometime tomorrow.
