What's with all the beast characters being guardians all of a sudden. First Primal in the machinima stuff and now Cheetor here.

It's a message to all the GEEWUNNERS who still hate Beast Wars based on the 10-30 seconds they saw of the cartoon:

"WE saved the entire Transformers franchise at the midpoint of the 2 decades YOU decided to stop caring, and therefore earned the honor of guarding its heart and soul for all eternity! If that's a problem for you, then BEGONE! Again."

Hey, I can only call 'em as I see 'em. Anyone with a less divisive read, please chime in.

Plot twist - Only Primal returned to Cybertron, though at a prehistoric time, upon arriving he takes up guard duty. The rest (well Cheetor at least) stayed on Earth and he eventually took up guarding the AllSpark.

Or it's just random.

You know, I don't know if you're joking or not, but here's some interesting (by standards) ramblings.

Most of us "GEEWUNNERS" were still in school or college when G1 died in the butt. We had little or no disposable income. The internet was in it's early days and bulletin boards regarding TF's were few and far between.

So they tried something new, they appealed to a new, younger audience and went back to fleecing parents.

Once Hasbro realised "GEEWUNNERS" had disposable income, their focus swung back to G1.

Hey guess who has disposable income now? Beast Wars fans! So don't flatter yourself, Hasbro are just seeing you as cash cows, like those mean GEEWUNNERS that upset you so. You're just a statistic like the rest of us now.

P.S. I liked Beast Wars and Beast Machines and have a near complete collection of both. Oh and I'm one of those "GEEWUNNERS", so maybe don't be so quick to generalise hey?

I dont think is fair to expect kids that were growing up and interested in various other things in their teenage years that they stopped caring for transformers. The truth is Hasbro stopped making the brand relevant to new fans until Beast Wars came around.

It was a dumb joke that seemed funnier when I was tired and under the weather last night. Sorry if that was actually offensive.

What would be hilarious is if the next ancient guardian in this trend turned out to be Rattrap.

"Yeah, this chamber's where Primus's consciousness lies dormant to protect us from the Swarm, or a continuity implosion, or something...look, I don't ever remember why this is my slaggin' problem."

And to think that the Dinobots of AOE were originally going to be the "Guardians of the AllSpark" in the movies before it was decided to instead make them some sort of legendary knights.

I think it is more just to get BW characters used again. The same could be said for IDW, [Jerry Seinfeld voice] What's with all the BW characters working for Unicron?? ;)

Speaking of IDW

william-james88 wrote:Plus I love a good Megs vs Optimus fight. Bring it on!

Something else IDW failed to deliver on in the end. Though I was labeled as "boring and cliche'" for wanting Op & Megs in a final fight to end IDW, well, at least this show as that going for it.

A megs and op fight wouldn't have made sense in IDW at that point. Cyberverse is going fir a mixed approach with megs, keeping him in the vein of evil but giving him a relatable start. Personally I tired of having prime vs megs, it's very played out but I'm willing to give new things a go if it promises a different take. It's my approach with the new IDW reboot as well.

potentially they are vehicle passage arms, I thought they were negligible blue wings like we see on some fly formers' arms. With the objective that is two female Decepticons on this show legitimately off the bat, captivating.

New Transformers Cyberverse Concept and Character Art

Remember back in February when we got some sweet Cyberverse concept artwork? Well guess what, we got more!

Thanks to Sophia Sycamore on Artstation, we have a bunch of new concept art to share with you today. The concept artwork shown here includes some looks at Grimlock's dino mode, which compared to previous series has taken on a little bit of a pointier look, but still comes with some great dino mode expressions!

Next up, we get some nice and cute little organics, starring an adorable little pupper dog, the billy goat Bumblebee befriended and played headbutt with, and a little human boy, the only human to appear so far in the series.

Returning to our bots, we get some line art for Hot Rod, some facial expressions for Maccadam and Deadlock, and a look at the multitude of Seeker skin options the show has given to us.

Check out all out below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

Before anyone complains about the human kid, he was only in one episode of Season 1 and for just a few seconds of screentime, as he was merely part of a quick joke bit that the writers made, and was never seen again for the rest of the season. The Autobots in this show, so far, do not have any human companions.

Well, just think back to the actual CG render of Dirk Dinobot, and this seems perfectly reasonable.

Over a decade ago, I swore I would never go down the path to collecting EVERY POSSIBLE Seeker color scheme in any mold other than Classics Starscream...but one look at that chart, and suddenly I know that if the toyline improves enough to give us a truly definitive mold, I will do so for Cyberverse Seekers. Yes, I could actually be complaining about Cyberverse toys not sucking hard enough by year's end.

WOAH.

I dont even remember a human, or a goat, or a dog...shows how little I paid attention even when watching this series....

Ok, but they'd better start drawing butt holes on the transformers too. I mean, they all ready draw the nipples on the seekers, so why not go all the way?

Yes, except I’m pretty sure the fine folks over at How to Train Your Dragon rubber stamped that one already for one of their Netflix series.

The grey and red seeker reminds me of the G1 Starscream toy.
