I love the colour palettes and subtle shading on these. I'm really impressed with the style of the series as a whole.

So I happened to rewatch a few episodes today, They were much more enjoyable than I remembered!
Curiously, however, the inconsistent faction symbols from Generations toys have seeped into the cartoon. If I'm correct, Bumblebee and Grimlock have G1-style badges (but missing the forehead vent), while Prime's and Windblade's have movie-style "angry eyebrows". Not sure if this has been mentioned already.

So, Episode 8 "Terminal Velocity" (the one where Bumblebee recalls visiting Velocitron with Hot Rod and having a race with Blurr until a rust plague infects the planet) apparently made its premiere in Japan yesterday and, according to TFWiki, the episode's Japanese title translates to "Planet Speedia".

The significance of this is that this means that Velocitron was apparently renamed "Speedia", which is what the planet was called in Transformers: Galaxy Force, the original Japanese version of Transformers: Cybertron.

This then means that, despite the brand unification pretty much making Takara use all of the same names and terms as Hasbro in the Japanese market for this series, the movies, and Siege, Velocitron was remarkably somehow unaffected by the brand unification, being allowed to retain its original Japanese name of "Speedia" instead of having to use its Hasbro name.

There's a Cyberverse panel going on at SDCC and there the female Lugnut lookalike has been revealed to be named "Clobber".

I have watched the whole thing within a week and I must say it was pretty fun!

I like how it stars in small scale and gradually builds up to a large faction war.
This cartoon know what it wants be and accomplished it.
I dont know about ending the season in cliffhanger, but I am excited to see where they go next.

In the event that gossipy tidbits about Ron Perlman and Mark Hamill are valid, I'm prepared to attempt it only for them.

Erm, those two were in the Power of the Primes webseries that Machinima did. This show is recorded in New York, whereas those two do their voice work in LA.

Transformers Cyberverse Opening for Season 2 and Episode Summaries

Fans who gave Cyberverse a shot were pleasantly surprised. It's as much of a G1 renewal as anyone could hope for, targeting the same audience as the original G1 show did and incorporating some deep cut comic lore. Plus it has a kick ass Shockwave. While the series will start airing again September 7th on Cartoon Network, Australia and France are already airing the second season. Below we can see the new opening credits from the French broadcasting, which includes Cheetor. Below is also the episode list from Foxtale Australia and the episode summaries.

Episode 01: Sea Of Tranquility

To save the Earth from destruction, the Autobots must defeat the Decepticons on the Moon.

Episode 02: Bad Moon Rising

Starscream makes a power play for control of the Decepticons as the Moon hurtles towards Earth.

Episode 03: The Visitor

While, in the Ark, one of Wheeljack’s inventions becomes uncontrollable, Bumblebee tries to figure out what he saw on the Moon.

Episode 04: Bring Me The Head Of Optimus Prime

The Decepticons plunge into chaos following the unexpected arrival of an Autobot among them.

Episode 05: Trials

Optimus and Megatron finally discover the Allspark.

Episode 06: Dark Birth

Starscream uses the Allspark to create a terrible new army.

Episode 07: Parley

The Autobot and Decepticons attempt to forge an alliance in the face of the threat posed by Starscream.

Episode 08: Starscream’s Children

Optimus Prime leads a rescue mission onto the Nemesis, saving the Decepticons from Starscream.

Episode 09: Spotted

As the Autobots prepare for an attack, Cheetor struggles to find his place amongst the tight-knit group.

Episode 10: Secret Science

Shockwave kidnaps Wheeljack to help the Decepticons find Starscream, but he underestimates the wily Autobot inventor.

Episode 11: Infinite Vendetta

The Autobots and Decepticons are surprised by the sudden arrival of two bots locked in a millennia long feud.

Episode 12: I Am The Allspark

Starscream unleashes the ultimate attack on the Autobots and Decepticons.

Could be cyberverse punch/counterpunch.

Let’s be honest, it’s Bumblebee or Windblade in disguise as a Decepticon

I really did enjoy the first season of this show, but It does suffer for lack of Humans. I feel like most of the different series has 1 of 2 human issues
1) to much about the humans
2) not enough about the Humans

G1 and Prime had a good balance, but everything else, not so much.

Look at the title of the episode.

I was actually thinking about this last night. The lack of humans is missed. So much of the vocal minority will say how much they hate humans and don’t want them and fine whatever but you are the vocal minority. Humans give something for the average person to relate to. I’ve watched reviews of movies with robots and no humans the people who review them admit they don’t care about the robots because theyre not relatable. I watched a round table discussion about Blade Runner and they discussed how the director believes Harrison Fords character is a replicant where as everyone else disagrees and the people discussing the movie say how Ford not being human removes all care about anyone in the movie because you have no human to relate to and to care about.

Pfft. Titles dont mean squat. Just like monthly comic synopsis's titles are a game that must be played

I'm honestly really excited at the idea of Starscream being the big bad and Optimus and Megatron having to team up on him for most of the season

Reminds me of the middle part of TF: Cybertron, which was an epic arc. 8-)

It truly was.

I really appreciate when we have competent Starscream's, it helps show why he is the second in command.
