His name is right there in his cartoon model's pic.

Kinda like back when people initially thought Steelbane and Skullitron from TLK were gonna be Decepticons. Sometimes good guys can look fearsome. 8-)

I mean it doesn't help he looks alot like steeljaw

Right I see what was throwing me off, the yellow should be blue and the head is different (appears to be a closed helm while cartoon model you can see the face.) I prefer the blue version myself.

I'm digging Iaconus. Wonder what role he's gonna have. Looks like he could be an ancient autobot like the original primes

Could be a Titan.

That would be cool. If so, I wonder how big they'll make the actual figure

Would be interesting to have Iacon city be a titan.

Wow, those are some character models! Super cool all of them!

Iaconus has a toy listing, so I'm hoping he ends up being a Titan of some sort.

Also, wow, Whirl finally makes it into a cartoon!!!!!

Whirl!

Wildwheel looks like he could be a Junkion. And that is definitely Shrapnel (or at least his model) that he is fighting at the 1:00 mark. Cyberverse Insecticons confirmed?

I presume the toy for Thunderhowl is the fully-articulated deluxe class that's supposed to be part of the Maccadam build-a-figure. Looks pretty good, but I think it would have done better without the battle mask.

I am loving Wildwheel. I didn't even think of a Junkion that would be perfect, like a Junkion bounty hunter.

I have to say I'm not huge on this series but these are characters that feel like they're going to be around for a long time to come. Like Iaconus that's a character that's going to pop up in future comics and cartoons I can just feel it. These are just great and fun and interesting designs all around.

Just a quick note to the board here:
https://www.popfun.co.uk/schedule

Monday 17th and onwards

I forgot to add the episode synopsis but as noted above thanks to our own news member we have the link listed above at popfun.co.uk 2/17 onward. Just be careful! Spoilers become pretty evident with the titles alone.

If you look closely at Iaconus his body is symmetric, but his details aren't. His shoulders especially as well as his shins and probably his arms look like they have buildings on them. I blew up the picture below, give it a click.

What's funny is that when the name leaked earlier, I did wonder about Iaconus being Iacon transformed but was shot down because people were concerned by scale...

Going by those episode descriptions, it sounds like Hot Rod is getting a lot of focus this season, could they possibly be building up to Rodimus Prime? I like all of those new characters, though I'm not sure if I dig Wildwheel's Clint Eastwood / McCree design. It feels like something the Michael Bay films would have done.

We've had poncho-wearing loner Transformers before.

Oooo dang, that’s an interesting point. I didn’t see it that way you know my first notion was like hey that reminds me of Animated. You know how Animated had those stereo-tropish characters like the Constructicons with their NY accents it gave me that kind of a vibe.
