I'd explain why I need to know, but my thought process is kind of scattered, and will be until I know how good this series is

• Livio Ramondelli. Some fans seem to really dislike his work, I think they just think they're not allowed to change their minds which were made up during Chaos
• IDW's Dinobots are not the G1 cartoon Dinobots, they're closer to Marvel G1. Snarl and Sludge are pretty close but Slag is more competent and Swoop is much different.
• Grimlock is not in these books. There's a good reason for this. I think they're saving him for some issues of Lost Light set to hit late this year/early next year.
