Good news comics fans – IDW Comic's The Lost Light is in the running for IGN's Best Comic Series Of The Year 2018! The Lost Light is up against some stiff competition from Batman, Black Hammer: Age Of Doom, Black Panther, East of West, Go Go Power Rangers, Kill or Be Killed, The Mighty Thor, Monstress and Saga.

It's more of a cool-kid thing (outside of our circles) to vote for Saga or Monstress so I'm sure one of those will win. I'm insanely behind on Saga. Just reading the trades on Monstress but vol 3 was a big drop off for me. Very slow and samey, the plot isn't getting deeper so I hope it picks up for the next volume or I'll probably drop it.

If they like it so much, why did they never revivew the series?

Thanks to a tweet from James Roberts, author Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye and Transformers: Lost Light comic book series, we've learned that Lost Light has won the People's Choice award in the annual IGN Best Comic Book awards. This category was open up for people to vote in.



We had previously reported here that the comic had been nominated and the competition it faced from Batman, Black Hammer: Age Of Doom, Black Panther, East of West, Go Go Power Rangers, Kill or Be Killed, The Mighty Thor, Monstress and Saga.

Well, I was wrong. And I'm glad I was. Even though I found plenty of faults with LL, still good to see a Transformers book get the notoriety.

Fully deserved!

IGN cowards failed to even make a new write up for it. Posers. They're not cool like us internet Transformers fans.

Hopefully this starts the momentum to get figures for Nautica, Rung, and Nickel in War For Cybertron. Or even the DJD.

I'm genuinely surprised there hasn't been a Tarn. Vos and Kaon, a gun and an electric chair, would be unlikely to happen using those particular alt modes.
