Surely you recognize Armada Thrust, right?

I realized that when they were Superion, but man I had some hope for a a minute when it was just the jets.

A 6'th jet among Aerialbots who is also green? It's kinda hard to think anything else first.

But... Armada Thrust is... gray.

What...no that jet is green in the first image, dark green with green highlights.

It's why I didn't think it was Thrust because it barely looks like him in that shot with the jets.

Green highlights, yes, but the jet's body is gray.

I can see the grey in toy pictures here yes and even in Superion panel but the picture I posted doesn't look anywhere grey to me, just a dark shade of green.

Looks grey on my screen, but this may be an instance of color bleeding. Try upping the resolution or zooming in.

New Chapters for Generations Selects Manga Series from Takara

Thanks to Sabrblade, we know that there are new chapters in the online Transformers manga tieing into the upcoming Generations Selects Volcanicus release. You can see it below along with a ling to the English translation. Also, these comics are canon to the Japanese Generation 1 continuity and swerve as a continuation to the show (as do all previous chapters).

Sabrblade wrote:Next two parts of the Volcanicus comic:

https://takaratomymall.jp/img/goods/4904810172079/comics_second-vol02.pdf

TONS of cameos from the Siege and Earthrise lines, and even a few from Power of the Primes.

Plus, Grimlock combines with the Technobots as his limbs and Scattershot as a handheld cannon weapon to form a new combiner named "Volcaticon" (Volcanicus + Computicon; "Computicon" is Computron's Japanese name).

Sabrblade wrote:And here we go with the English text translation for both parts.

Most combiners 'Ill use a legends sized figure as a gun'
Seacons 'We will use deluxes as a gun'
Dinobots 'yeagh, about that'

Really doubt Volcanicus can support the weight of that but def cool to see

I can barely understand what's going on but HOLY SLAG that is intense!

The Terrorcons are apparently working for the Quintessons, who seem to want Earth's Angolmois Energy for themselves.

Pteraxadons are also Quint allies, and Cutthroat refers to them as "Junior"

The Terrorcons also apparently underwent an Angolmois Energy Power Up to get their new forms.

Inferno is in his POTP body, and all five of Orthia's fembot components are visible in this comic.

Sinnertwin refers to both the AllSpark (if he means the afterlife, it's odd that he would call it that instead of its Japanese name of "Matrix Zone") and something else called the "HellSpark".

Powerdashers Aragon and Cromar cameo in their WFCT bodies, along with Impactor making his JG1 debut!

A Quint Judge MURDERS SPIKE by shooting him with a laser gun!!!!

The new chesplate for Abominus is named the "Terror Breastar" and attaches to Hun-Gurrr in monster mode to make him "Wing Hun-Gurrr".

Hot Rod is still in his POTP toy body and gets doused with Angolmois Energy, turning him into Rodimus Unicronus.

Hmm...

I wonder with seeing Inferno and Ricochet if the next will be a new Combiner team of Autobots, that we never got officially for Inferno?I'd love to see a Combiner mold for Sideswipe ( and thus made into Red Alert as seen in these pages)... But not sure if that is Possible. Having it be Jazz & Ricochet, then Sideswipe & Inferno would be nice and only require one new toy to be developed to be used twice.

Isn't the red alert seen here though just his Siege form?

Yes. Every character in this is just using their most recently-released-in-Japan toy bodies.

New Chapter of Generations Selects Manga Reveals Spike's Finale Moments

A new chapter of the Transformers Generations Selects manga is out from Takara and you can view it below or here. This comic is more intense than any other Transformers comic we got in the past 2 years. Luckily, for those who do not read Japanese, we have a translation from Mohair so you can read exactly what is happening. The most intense part of course comes down to a standoff between Spike and a Quintesson judge. Things don't end well. You can see it below.

So it appears that Hun-Grrr's new tooling enables his semi-mythical base-mode. Yeah, I'll probably be buying Abominus Reduxus, but PotP Hun-Grrr is still in that category of Prime Wars components I wish some 3rd party would just do a full-on replacement for, like Mixmaster and Afterburner. Only then might Abominus's legs possibly surpass the glory of his G1 toy's articulation and stability...maybe.

As for Spike's death, he it was better executed than in Marvel G2 #2, so no complaints from me.

The PotP one can do the same thing, just tried it. He does have a tooling change that isn't visible: the holder for the Terrorcon Enigma has been replaced with a flat plate for the Terror Breaster to attach (which possibly came from Turtler like his gun did).
