For those of you unable to attend Botcon this year and pick up a copy of the "Games of Deception" comic, then you're in luck. According to this week's shipping list, the comic, printed by Fun Publications, featuring the Transformers Classics and containing two exclusive character profiles, is hitting comic shops today. So be sure to drop by your local store and pick it up. You can also keep up with all your comic news in the Seibertron.com Comics Section.

And even if you were lucky enough to be at Botcon and pick up a copy I believe this edition has a variant cover.

So is this a complete story using the Classics?
If it is a full story, I may be tempted if the price is right. But only if it is a complete story. Who wrote it?

It's set in the Timelines continuity and carries on from the current run of Classics themed stories in the club mags. At the end of Cybertron: Balancing Act the club characters Skyfall and Landquake got blasted across the dimensions and end up in this reality populated by the G1 characters with Classics designs. It's set 15 years after the end of the Marvel comic but ignores both the UK material, which focused heavily on time travel and would have had the events of the movie occur by now, and the G2 comics, which brought Megatron back in a different manner.

Somebody did post the creative team recently, I'll try to find that now.

edit- Here we go, creative team information originally posted by tigertracks24:

Art (Pencils and Inks) by Alex Milne
Story by Forrest Lee, Benson Yee, and Greg Lombardo
Writer- Forrest Lee
Colors- Drew Eiden and Josh Perez

(please note that the direct sales edition has a different cover, and I'm not sure who's responsible for art duties on that one. waaaaghlord)

Wow, one Botcon Comic is all we have had for 2 weeks, I thought while the movie was out, we would be under the pump in terms of comics and books.

And thank whatever maker you want for that! :P
Does that mean Spotlight Prime should appear on August 1 right?

Thanks for the info. If it's part of an ongoing story, I'll skip it and keep me money for IDW's G1 stuff.

As it's been mentioned, when is the Prime Spotlight due out?

Anywhere you can get it online? My local shop refuses to order it and I don't see it on any online store.

I found it now, but it costs $11.21 to be shipped to my house in Michigan. Anyone know any better prices?

There's hardly any Games of Deception sets left on eBay now. Those that are there are rather expensive. Anyone had luck getting one? :-?
