Anything is better than the latter!

I find this one to be very strictly made for kids and it's probably good at that. Maybe if I was into ponies I could find more to like, but I'm not. Some of the art is totally adorable, which also places this series above TF vs Visionaries and many other crossover books.

Loving Spike's fanboying over Grimlock. He's big into comic books and superheroes so he's the perfect one to be in this situation. Otherwise, Rainbow Dash would be a good fit too, but more in a complementing way since she too is full of confidence like Grimlock, as opposed to how Spike contrasts to Grimlock's confidence. Either way, this is very smartly-written.

Now, see, if this had been made back in the 1980s, Applejack would be sitting in a corner, cowering in fear, begging for her life in a passive, submissive manner, wanting some big strong hero to come and rescue her.

But here, with this comic drawing inspiration from the Friendship is Magic series, AJ is strong-willed, independent, taking charge of the situation, and anything but a pushover. She's angry, frustrated, and determined to get those low-down, cotton-pickin' varmints offa her property! She ain't goin' down witout a fight, and'll die trying to defend her family's honor and legacy.

It's honestly not any different from Transformers fans knowing what they know.

Where've you been for the last decade? They made a good MLP series that garnered a huge following of fans just like any other decent, intelligent cartoon series would. The fact that it starred characters that were horses and a predominately female cast was completely irrelevant to how good it was.

This isn't the 1980s anymore where cartoons have to be segregated by gender.

At what point did I bring gender into it? And honestly, I didn't know about any new cartoons or that it was a mostly female cast. Frankly I don't care.

It's more about the overall weirdness of the entire package of MLP plus Transformers, plus the fact that you yourself had such minutia stored in your little grey cells to be withdrawn at a moment's notice but hobbies are hobbies.

As for my last decade, I've spent the last decade or so traying to keep people from dying on my shift (because OMG! The paperwork!), which leads to drinking, burnout, and exhaustion on a daily basis while simultaneously working on a Master's degree with the purpose of giving myself a more prominent role in keeping people from dying on my shift.
So...pretty much a masochistic stupor. Does that help?

You're really having a go at someone because of the knowledge they possess? I get Sabrblade has a tendency to be an annoying know-it-all but your attitude just stinks.

If this cross-over isn't your thing, then move along. It's a concept that's so simple even your little grey cells could comprehend.

Not "having a go". Teasing. Poking fun. Seriously, it's tongue-in-cheek. SB's own signature pokes fun at his knowledge of television minutia!

Good point. Apologies to both youse. Please go back and read the previous posts in a snarky, sarcastic, tongue in cheek voice...maybe Fran Drescher or Danny Devito?

I'll go take my meds. I forgot them this morning...

Drescher works. Or Gilbert Gottfried. ;)

TulioDude wrote:I still think it should've been a crossover with Transformers Prime, just saying.
It might have, had this crossover been done back then instead of ten years later. Wonder why it took so long to make it happen.

'Course, on the other hand, Prime was out when we had different people in charge of Transformers brand, so maybe the current team were more open to the crossover than the Prime era team. :-?

could see the Earthrise Sunstreaker, Wheeljack, or Runabout/Runamuck molds working as a mold base or engineering base for KITT.

Until then, I'm satisfied with KITT's cameo appearance (complete with William Daniels-voiced dialogue) in that one Walmart commercial that had a ton of TV and film vehicles in it.
