Ever since this issue came out I have loved this image of Optimus with Megatron's fusion cannon I keep finding new fan art popping up of people recreating this image.
I wanted to share a few of my favorites and I invite you all to share your own.

Seriously, Prime could wipe out the Decepticons now but he'll probably hold back because he's Robot Jesus and wants to save all the fluffy animals.

I had thought about before what it would be like if Prime and Megatron swapped weapons, but Prime taking Megatron's whole arm? Very intriguing.

It's just such a cool idea and I love how people are recreating the exact same frame.
I've never seen a single shot from any piece of transformers media become so icon to the fans let alone so fast.

Speaking of goign on the offensive. I finally found the perfect video that articulately encapsulates how I feel about Fortress maximus. Many feel he was weak because of the whiney portrayal of Cerebros in "The Rebirth", while the Marvel Comics was better, he wasn't a City Sized bot. The Headmasters anime seems to encapsulate the best of both, but so does BubBudianski's profile from the original toy.

This video is the perfect representation of how I feel Fortress maximus Should be portrayed in media, and this is honestly how Iven felt since 1987 when at age 11 I had the original toy.

Hasbro are really missing out if they don't release a figure of Prime with Meg's cannon.

Just a slight retool of the earthrise mold with a different arm would be perfect.

I think ROTF Optimus is the most badass version of this.










Also Collecticon over on Instagram have been doing some insane work based on this.

I did some looking online and this may be the first transforming Voyager class skybound Optimus Prime.

Looks like a simple enough custom. Remove the smoke stack, paint the arm, paint the elbow, attach fusion cannon.

No reason Hasbro couldn't do it!

It would be so easy for Hasbro to do!
I think that would make a tonne of money on it too.

They should make a collapsible fusion cannon thought because it's to short in robot mode and to tall on trick mode.
