Transformers Cyberworld 2025 Show Discussion Thread

Below are images of a leaked Hasbro document focusing on Transformers. It is from earlier this year and shows the plans for shows to come, among other things. For Earthspark, it shows that the goal is to continue this show until 2026. Of course, plans could change (or even might have already changed). However, what is important here is that we now have the proof that the new show, Cyberworld, is not a replacement show. It is just another show on their schedule. So our previous reports on Earthspark being replaced were wrong.
The new show Cyberworld, will be starting in 2025, as we see in the leaks, and will feature Galvatron and Mirage, among many other characters. We have toy leaks for this show, which will be shared in a subsequent article.

MORE Earthspark! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssss!
The non-repaints in the Warrior/Deluxe mainline are pretty good for whom they're aimed at, the Terrans are especially great that even collectors like me, who didn't bother with RID'15 & Cyberverse, got into buying the Terrans because of their alt mode choices.
Looking forward to see more about the direction of Cyberworld. Is it a continuation of Cyberverse? Will we see Tarn again and the rest of the DJD? Combining Volcanicus? My interest is piqued!

Honestly, I think this is a little old and Earthspark is done unless I read the documents correctly and Cyberworld will be geared towards Pre-Schoolers like Rescue Bots was. Then I can see two shows going on at the same time. The question becomes will retailers support two animated product lines again?

Looks more like there will be an Earthspark Mirage

Only 'til Season 2 ends. Then there'll be some specials and then it's done.

From my experience over the years, a retailer will support product form a popular line regardless. We had the fear that it would be crazy many times in the past and yet in the end the places that usually stock well stocked them well and the places that never did stayed about the same.
What I don't get is, as you mention, is this the preschool show or another concurrent show? It's not clear right now.
First Look Transformers Cyberworld Cartoon Models Including Megatron as a Bull

2025 will have Cyberworld coming out, Hasbro's next Transformers cartoon. While we had a toy of which looked like Megatron who can turn into a bull, it wasn't clear exactly if it was the series antagonist. But this promotional look at the show tells us he is indeed one of the main antagonists. We also see how the Megabull cartoon model works with the horns giving him a more galvatron/unicron look but with a more Megatron color scheme.
We also see Bumblebee, who resembles his look from recue bot toys, Optimus Prime who has a similar look to the Classics toy, and Grimlock who's arm/hand is the dino head.

This appears to be a mockup of what I'm guessing is the Toy Fair booth so I guess we'll see these displayed in March. (Apparently Toy Fair goes back to being in February next year.)

So - Prime is still a truck. Bumblebee is still a car. But Megatron is a... 'bull'.
Sigh.
Just when you think Hasbro can't act any more bewildered and clueless about what Megatron's alt mode should be, they crank it down yet another notch.

The designs for the show look promising. Very curious about the premise.

I definitely couldn't disagree more. I love new takes on characters. My all-time favorite Megatron appearance is his Armada look, which is wildly different from his evergreen design.
Honestly, my only complaint is that I wish Optimus and Bumblebee were a bit more unique.

Yeah, I agree. Let's get some originality and creativity in the franchise again. We need an Armada level departure from the norms as G1 has been driven into the ground.

Not if the 'new' stuff is trash (coughcoughcoughEarthsparkCyberverseRIDcoughcoughcough). They can do a lot better in terms of 'originality' than making Megatron a bull. Even that can be considered "G1" since Predacon Tantrum is a bull. Therefore it can be said this "Megabull" thing isn't original at all, they're just rehashing G1 Tantrum and shuffling the names around.
Transformers ONE's Quintesson was original, but it's the biggest shelf-warmer in that line. It does no good to make something original if it doesn't sell. Hasbro has been having a rough time lately (hark how many articles we get with verbiage like 'Hasbro is in trouble', and 'sales are down from ____ quarter', and 'failed to meet expectations'. Doing something wholly original means taking a huge risk. And they've taken enough hits lately that risk-taking isn't something they're going to do without assurance of good ROI.

Two out of three of those use very G1-inspired designs in their own art style.
Also, nobody has seen this yet. So we don't know one way or the other whether it will be trash or good, and therefore that has no bearing on the design yet. Beast Wars and Animated were both initially trashed for using new/different designs, but ended up quickly becoming fan favorites.

I honestly don’t care what the designs are (love Megatron tho), as long as the episodes aren’t 10-minutes and the writing is good. The other Cyber show started out a little meh but by season 3 was a true staple of the franchise, both in its excellent visual design and expanded storytelling to other characters and concepts. Though anyone saying Earthspark sucks is crazy. Say what you will regarding quality post-season 1, but there will always be something special there in regards to original characterization.

In the Cyberworld toyline thread, user William-james88 posted some text from a Hasbro funding page related to the reveal of the the Cyberworld toyline.
I'm not going to post the whole thing here (you can check out that thread if you want to see it), but I want to draw attention to a very relevant detail here:
Travel to the Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany during the last week of January and produce an exciting, high-energy reveal video – potentially with an animation component – to help build anticipation for Hasbro’s new Transformers: CYBERWORLD toy line and its accompanying YouTube Series.
It seems that Cyberworld will be a YouTube series, not a full animated series. This has effectively killed most of my optimism for the series.

I didn't expect Cyberworld to be such a literal title. Feels like Transformers X Reboot.

That's what i meant. Except for season 3. Adult Enzo was like a train wreck. The saga of 2 Bob's? Ugh. Autocorrect messed the previous post up.

Transformers Cyberworld 2025 Optimus Prime Character Model Revealed

The Transformers Youtube page is releasing shorts showing character models and stats for the new Transformers Cyberworld show. They started off with Optimus, of course, who looks very much like a toy. It's interesting that both Hasbro and Takara are having their current media be 5 minute youtube shows with extremely toyetic character models. We will post more as they come out.
