Just saw this on Twitter that Studio Trigger (SSSS Gridman, Kill La Kill, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners) is gonna do Transformers and holy balls I'm excited!

Takara Tomy's T-Spark channel on YouTube has shared a teaser trailer for a new 40th Anniversary Promotional Video produced by Studio Trigger, known for several influential anime productions including Kill La Kill, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Promare and many, many more. They were also behind the show with all the Transformers Shattered Glass inspired character designs from several years back, SSSS Gridman. While the trailer here is for a short promotional video, there's plenty to get excited about here as the preview shows brief glimpses of Optimus Prime and Megatron battling across generations, and even Armada Sparkplug holding the Matrix of Leadership in front of a G1 Rodimus Prime doing the same. Check out the clip below to see it all for yourself.

The only valid reason to get Triggered.

I would love to see the 86 movie redone in a awesome anime style, using the original audio. Im sure this is prolly not that hehe, but I am excited none the less.

That was awesome! Absolutely chock full of references across the whole 40 years, and both longer and way cooler than I was expecting

Can't currently find an official unbroken source for it that's viewable outside of Japan - there's a YT copy above but nothing posted to the official sites / channels yet. Will update when I find one!
