Now that the Transformers Movie has been seen twice by every human being on the face of the earth, the inevitable has been happening. YouTube, Video Game sites and main stream TV have taken there light hearted shots so far, but none compare to the hilarious comic stylings of Scott Ramsoomair, the creater of VGCats.com

Scott has, in the past, made a few comics involving The Transformers and how much they love the DS, including:
Ba Weep Granna
and
Pictochat

Now here's the latest comic entitled Darkest Hour. Feel free to recap all of the other hilarious web-comics of all your favorite video games and movies from VGCats.com here

That would have been funny, but the cats at the end ruined it for me.

Ive read VG cats for almost a year now and i must say that while its supremly humorus it makes several valid points on many of the comics that have been produced and that is very true with this comic staring a cast of 2-d humans with a cameo by the transformers.

Scott really likes cats. You can tell this, as the humans in the movie ruined it for him. (presumably, it would have been saved for him if it included an all cat cast as opposed to the human cast.)

Hm. Like I didn't post that at 7:43 AM yesterday.

I didn't even think it was newsworthy.

No FP&C for me yet again. :-(

I read his drivel of an opinion on the movie...

You know, every real person I've met who has seen the film has said nothing but positives about it. Every real person I've talked to has really enjoyed the movie.

NO IT HASN'T! IT IS NOT OUT ON GENERAL RELEASE HERE UNTIL TOMORROW! PLEASE STOP MAKING GENERAL COMMENTS LIKE THIS BECAUSE IT SERIOUSLY GETS ME ANGRY AND I'M SURE OTHER BRITS AS WELL!

Sorry about that, but I'm sick of this thinking everyone has seen the movie and just want to put the record straight. That is all. I will now go back into exile until I have seen it.

Yeah, the "Transform and product place" line got me to smirk, but other than that, that comic was an epic fail. :[

Thank you. =)

Am happy now!

It's just that I usually just come here for news. It's rare that I actually have news to give before someone else has already posted it.

I would so buy that remake.

The human use for Bumblebee got me there. Everytime I've seen that movie that end scene has me wondering what in the WORLD they're doing on the alien car. Especially with his alien car friends watching right beside him. Product placement in the movie didn't bug me at all, so that panel didn't amuse me as much as it could.

But sad Bumblebee headlights? Oh yes.

"Wus up lil' bitches?" heh. Saw the movie once. It's still pretty lame. While not treading any new ground, the comic still hits home- covering all the major faults of the movie. Perhaps, like Independence Day, TINO will be a film people grow to loath in hindsight. They're both pretty forgettable- with a mean streak of "Yeah America." Oh, did I forget to mention that Qatar is in the "Middle East?" Just in case someone forgot.

Uh... it's different from having a couple of human characters talking about the movie? Two things to understand about VGCats: (1) Leo and Aeris (the cats, as in VGCats) are the main characters of the comic, and generally turn up to pass comment on whatever's caught Scott's attention lately; and (2) as the title VGCats suggests, the comic is mainly about Video Games - hence Leo talking about the game as well as the film. It's pretty simple, really.

So... being on the internet precludes being 'a real person'? Especially if you're a TF fan on the internet...? :???:

I've heard reviews in both directions from 'real people' - both those I know online and those I know IRL. The overall feeling is that the TF fans were more mixed, while the non-fan blockbuster audience was more or less universally positive and the 'serious' film reviewers tended to ignore it as far as possible - pretty much what we expected all along. What I don't get is why it's suddenly become almost as much of a taboo for fans to honestly say that they didn't enjoy the movie, felt disappointed by it, or for whatever reason simply weren't enthused by it, as it once was to admit to liking what we'd seen of it before its release.

With near certainty, yes.

The internet separates accountability from people and their opinions. How many people that you know of online, who routinely run their mouths, act the same way when confronted by other people in person?
